How To Get Interviewees

December 22, 2013 by Marc Guberti 4 Comments

I'm happy to see you around. You may want to subscribe to my blog. Thanks for visiting!

Welcome back! I am so happy to see that you have come back for more.

By interviewing people, you will be able to establish yourself as an expert. Finding the people to interview is the challenging part, until now. People say yes to interviews very often. In fact, 90% of the time, people say yes to get interviewed. All you have to do is find the people who want to get interviewed. Here’s how:

  1. Create a list of the people you want to interview. Make sure these are also people your subscribers and followers want to hear from. These people should be recognized experts of your niche.
  2. Contact them on social networks or via email. Ask them if they would like to be interviewed and tell them what you want to interview them about. You need to have clarity in order to get the fastest response and more people who say yes.
  3. Find a way to do the interview. I use Google+ Hangouts to host my interviews. Google+ Hangouts are free and reliable, and here’s why you need to use them.
  4. Get started! Keep on finding people who you want to interview and keep on repeating this process. By doing a good job with the first interview, the person is bound to come back for a second interview.

All of these interviews will allow you and your guest to get more visibility. People are impressed because you interviewed an expert. In addition, people get to learn more about the person you interview.

Impressive advice and tips from such a young man. In spite of our experience, Twitter is a bit of a challenge for many of us. Keep up the good work and thanks for your time and your tips.

Thank you Howard. Just keep reading different articles about Twitter and take a few courses and you’ll do well. As Tony Robbins said, “leaders are readers.”
