Be Unique In Your Niche By Doing What No One Else Does

December 24, 2013 by Marc Guberti 6 Comments

I'm happy to see you around. You may want to subscribe to my blog. Thanks for visiting!

Welcome back! I am so happy to see that you have come back for more.

In order to be unique, you need to do what no one else is doing. You have to be the only person who offers a specific product or service. Being the only person based on age and other variables also comes into effect. As long as people know you are the only one or “one of the very few,” you will get noticed.

The problem with being like the competition is that clients can easily go to someone else. By being unique, clients won’t be able to go to someone else without having a completely different experience. By offering your clients a good experience and being unique, they won’t stop buying your products.

What are the problems in your niche that aren’t being given enough attention? You can create a product or service that highlights that one thing that isn’t being given enough attention. By giving a problem attention, people will start to pay attention and realize that the problem exists. When they realize the problem exists, there’s only one solution–you.  If getting more conversations on social media was a problem that didn’t get enough attention, and you gave it attention, everyone would be scrambling to find a solution to that problem. By the time getting more conversations on social media became a well-known problem, find another problem that people don’t pay enough attention to.

This will allow you to be ahead of the competition and change the way that your niche works. Give yourself the driving wheel and steer your niche in any direction you desire.

There are a lot of things that individuals do that no one else would do. Some of these people will do those things for $5 on Fiverr. There are some strange gigs on Fiverr that show people being unique in different ways.

Do the one thing that no one else does. Once you do that, find another thing that no one else does and do that too.

    Totoally agree Marc.
It’s important to offer value addition even small that no one does in your industry. Even small little addition can make big difference, especially if you position it that way.

Very true. Sometimes it is the smallest things that make the biggest difference. In many of the detective stories, the detective sees a few small things that most people overlook.

This is a strategy that will really help you to stand out among the vast sea of sameness that is seemily everywhere online. Great insight Marc…

Thank you. I am glad you liked the article. Standing out in a sea of mediocrity has now become more important than ever. Acting however, is just as important as knowing.
