I’ll answer them. However, answering your question with a comment will not be the only thing I do. 2014 is going to bring forth a lot of changes. Starting in April, my YouTube videos will have a different setting. One of the big additions is a white board (idea paint on a wall).

Hey Marc! Here’s my question for you: whats the value of twitter to small businesses? How can I get through all of the noise and actually have people see my messages without spamming their feed? I already schedule posts for optimal viewing times and engage others, but I’m not seeing the engagement with my blog content that I’d like. I’m wondering if it’s worth the effort if I’m not seeing direct ROI.

The best way to find the value of Twitter for your small business is by building a targeted following that you have many conversations with. It is great to see that you are scheduling posts for optimal viewing times, but you should also spread posts out throughout the entire day. The targeted following is very important towards seeing the results that you want to see.

I’m starting to have some back and forth conversation with folks, but I want to make sure I’m talking to the right folks & using my time effectively. Is there a faster way to go through my followers rather than 1by1?
In order to build a targeted following, you need to find someone in your niche who has a big (and growing) following. Then, follow that person’s followers who are likely to follow back. I use Tweepi to get a list of all of someone’s followers and see which of their followers are likely to follow me back.
