When you master blogging, you will be able to spread your message and communicate with others in a way never done before. My blog’s success has allowed me to interact with thousands of people and meet well-known entrepreneurs of our era. Having a successful blog automatically boosts your credibility. I understand that you are a productive person and are experienced with getting swamped with work on some days. That’s why I made this blog post especially short. Here are five quick blogging tips that will take you less than a minute to read.
- Focus on getting social media traffic. Social media is a better way to get more blog traffic than SEO. In fact, your SEO will improve as you get more social media traffic.
- We are trained to notice mistakes first. That’s why you always need to proofread your blog posts. Uh oh, did I spell proofread wrong? I bet I didn’t have to tell you that. Proofreading your blog posts will avoid something like that from happening by accident.
- Schedule blog posts in advance. There are some things in life that we can’t account for until they happen. Scheduling numerous blog posts in advance will guarantee that you remain consistent.
- Write one blog post every day. Writing one blog post every day will allow you to become a better writer. As your writing improves (and there is always room for improvement), you will be able to write better books at a faster rate.
- Stick with it. Blogging at times can get annoying. There’s writer’s block, low traffic stats, and other things that discourage us from writing another blog post. Here’s a picture I share a lot to help you stick with blogging, but it is still powerful.
How long did it take you to read the tips?

In order to have a good blog, do you have to pay for it? I use WordPress on my job on a daily basis. I’d like to start a personal blog, but I don’t want to have to pay a bunch of money for it. Because I don’t have a lot of money, lol.

You don’t have to pay to have a good blog. One of my blogs on WordPress.com got over 300 daily visitors back when I took that blog seriously. As long as you have forms and other things that help you collect email addresses, you can start for free. Over the long-term it’s better to pay for your own domain and hosting.

I completely agree with the tips and i just love the last one “stick with It” this has been my inspiration for a long time now, at first i used give up after posting content consistently without seeing any traffic. Now am just doing what is supposed to be done each and every day. Thanks for this informative post.

My pleasure. I was in the situation too. Every blogger at some point was struggling to get traffic. Keep putting in the work and the rewards will come with patience.

Marc, good article. Just one thing which is never clarified satisfactorily. When you say to schedule your blog posts, what if the target audience is worldwide? is there any global best time to release the blog posts?
If not, then which countries should we target ? Is it just US, UK, Europe or any other country? Give us some guidance on that.
Marc Guberti says
Ahmad, my recommendation is to schedule blog posts based on eastern time. Most of the shares and comments that occur on blog posts happen in the morning in eastern time.

Hi Marc,
I agree with you totally on your first point. Working on social media has a better overall income to your traffic than chasing SEO. The SEO game is for later because it takes time for your authority to build. The Social game is more about talking to people direct and having a closer to real time relationship as supposed to the audience stumbling upon you when searching.
I agree with your second point also. We home in on mistakes like a heat seeking missile and for those whose first language is not English, this is all too apparent. Whilst those mistakes shouldn’t deter us from reading, they often do and the message gets lost.
I struggle with point 3. I’ve tried schedules numerous times and can’t stick to them. This is because I’m a rebel. I prefer to be a bit more dynamic. But each to their own!
It took me less than a minute to read your tips. Well done. It does what it says on the tin 🙂
Cheers,
Jackson
