Great video, Marc! You’ve given some fantastic advice, and you’re a stellar example of confidence in front of the camera. It’s been a pleasure watching you and your website continue to grow. Each time I return here, there’s a little more “wow” factor than there was before!
I like that you even mention creating an uplifting environment, because I can personally relate with that being important for myself. Sufficient natural lighting, as I’ve found, is both motivating as well as attractive on screen. Being in Oregon, sometimes the rainy days are a challenge, so I have a softbox light to help with that 🙂

Thank you for the kind words Sharon. I haven’t done a video outside but have heard its promising. My brother has done several videos outdoors and the main advantage is that on a sunny day, all of the lighting is already set up for you. Then all you have to do is focus on providing the value.

Great video Marc!
– I’ve not done talking head videos for a few years, getting ready to do them again, but I will say… I did look at the camera as if I were talking to someone. It made it easier.
– Now I have to get comfortable all over again! 😉
Thanks so much for all that you do!

I’m happy you enjoyed the video Roz. I see doing video as similar to riding a bicycle. There was a gap in time when I did ScreenFlow videos and I had to get comfortable looking at the camera again. It took some getting used to but was much easier than when I started out. I think within the first two videos I was back to being comfortable.
