Today is a special day because we can celebrate Christmas together. We gather around with our family, have wonderful feasts, and celebrate the true meaning of the holidays. We must remember moments like these and remain happy after Christmas as well.

Small Acts Of Kindness

December 24, 2012 by Marc Guberti 5 Comments

Small acts of kindness make us know that we are doing our job. These acts of kindness don’t have to be as good as getting a golden crown worn be a king, but simple acts that tell us we are doing a good job. Klout perks is a place where advertisers give you products or discounts based on your influence on Twitter (Klout score). I got a #GEICOdelight (that’s the hashtag that was used) which was a plush Geico gecko. I also got $100 in credits to use for Twitter advertising from Hootsuite.

I’m not here today to brag about what I got. I’m here to say that these acts of kindness, these generous gifts, made me know that I was doing a good job. When you receive small acts of kindness, someone is rewarding you for your good deeds.

Expansion

December 23, 2012 by Marc Guberti 1 Comment

It is always great to expand your business. Starting on Squidoo, evolving to Twitter, and then finding many ways to make money online has been amazing. There are many ways to make money online such as Sponsored Tweets and Youtube.

Knowing when to expand is just as important as expanding in general. Trying to perfect 5 different methods before you even started is not the approach to making money online. I started with 1 method, perfected it, and went on to the next method. Since some methods work together such as Squidoo and Twitter, some are easier than others. When you get better at mastering methods faster, you can expand your business.

In the business world, we all must avoid rushing at the beginning because then we will miss the small details that make the big difference.

Do It Before It Is Too Late

December 22, 2012 by Marc Guberti 5 Comments

Performing an action too late can lead to great consequences for an individual or country. If we see a problem on Twitter or a website, we must tend to that problem right away or else people will lose interest. In fact, some people even lose interest in their own goals. By the time a person regains interest of that goal, it can already be too late to restart that goal. Responding to problems has been a problem for some ancient civilizations which ultimately led to historic collapses.

If you have to do something, please do it before it is too late because you don’t know when the next opportunity will strike.

True Character

December 21, 2012 by Marc Guberti 2 Comments

Many people say that our true characters are tested at times of difficulty. I would agree with these people, but I think there is another way to see someone’s true character.

Power

Let that word sink into your mind. People who have power don’t always have to be nice. There are many tyrants and other rulers who deprive their people of their own rights. There are also people who use their power to support worthy causes.

At times of difficulty, we do see someone’s true character, but if a person was given great power, we can see how that person decides to use his/her power. What would you do if you had infinite power?

A Long Break

December 20, 2012 by Marc Guberti 1 Comment

There is nothing better than a long break which I am experiencing right now because of Christmas break. However, there is nothing worse than getting too comfortable and messing up during that break. Blog posts still have to be made and scheduled as well as my tweets. Squidoo lenses must be up to par, promoted, and updated throughout Christmas break. For me, midterms are also something that I must start studying over the break.

Long breaks are fun and enjoyable. I can tell you this from first hand experience, but if you get nothing accomplished during that break, you’ll be miserable when that break actually ends.
