One Powerful Way To Produce Higher Quality Videos

January 7, 2014 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

reading script

Videos are more important than ever, and I believe that videos have the potential to be game changers for any business. However, too many people are ignoring one method that will allow them to produce higher quality videos.

All you need to do is create an outline for your video. The outline should highlight everything that you want to talk about in your video. What do you want to tell your viewers? What tidbits of information do you need to include? What examples and testimonials do you want to talk about? The best way to get all of this information into one video with few retakes is by writing an outline.

In addition, you should put this outline somewhere you can see it while doing the video. You can put the video directly above the camera you are using or on a wall that no one can see. You don’t have to memorize the outline you create. You just need to see the outline while doing the video.

This tactic will allow you to say everything that you want to say and not blank out when you are recording the video. Give your viewers your best by taking the time to create an outline for your videos. With an outline, your videos will become longer and get more views.

What We Need To Learn From The Fox And Hedgehog Story

January 7, 2014 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

I was watching a video by Gideon Shalwick, a video marketer, and in that video, he talked about the story of the fox and the hedgehog. The hedgehog only has one form of protection: its needles. The hedgehog only focuses on the needles. It does not need to run faster or have stronger hands because the hedgehog already has what it needs.

The fox is trying to eat the hedgehog, but the fox uses different tactics to get to the hedgehog. The fox tries charging at the hedgehog, coming from behind, and coming from the side. The hedgehog only knows one trick, but that one trick neutralizes all of the fox’s attempts at eating the hedgehog.

You may have many great ideas, but in order to get the best results, you need to give the most attention to an individual idea. One idea should get 90% of your attention. It is okay to only use one social network and have a big following versus using many social networks and having small followings on all of those social networks.

We need to focus on implementing less big ideas so we can optimize the ideas that we choose to implement. It is okay to stick with only one idea versus sticking with many ideas. The hedgehog is still here today because he stuck with one idea. The fox still can’t get to the hedgehog because he is trying different tactics but not optimizing on one of those tactics.

How To Effectively Promote A Product On A Blog

January 6, 2014 by Marc Guberti 4 Comments

Promote Product On Blog

Blogs are great ways to increase sales because they allow your visitors to learn more about you. Your visitors get to see free content (your blog posts) while learning about who you are based on your bio. In order to increase sales, you need to promote a product on your blog the right way.

There are numerous tactics to promote a product on a blog, but not all of them are effective. The first thing you should do is avoid writing too many blog posts about products. Most of your blog posts should be about your expertise while some of them should be about products. When you write a blog post that promotes a product, it is important to do that effectively. Here’s how:

  1. If you are promoting your own product, have a coupon that creates a sense of urgency. If you would still make a profit, give your visitors a 50% discount that expires in 24 hours. Some people will buy your product just to take advantage of the deal. After using the product, these customers will realize how good your product is and buy your other products. If you don’t have your own product, I recommend that you create a training course on Udemy about something you are an expert at.
  2. Go in detail about the features. Not everyone knows what the features are, and the people who don’t know will ask, “So what?” Tell your visitors what the features of the product are and what those features do.
  3. Have a picture of the product. The picture of the product will encourage many people to buy the product. Adding a picture to your blog post may be the difference between getting 1 sale and getting 10 sales.
  4. Do not forget to add your affiliate link. When you promote a product on your blog, you need to make money from the product.

Products should not be promoted on a blog daily. However, when products are promoted on a blog, they need to be promoted effectively. Do you have any tips, suggestions, or success stories about promoting a product on your blog?

Make Your Plan Simple

January 6, 2014 by Marc Guberti 4 Comments

The most common reason why plans don’t work is because the planner over-thinks the situation. The plans that do not get executed often took days and weeks to come up with. These plans often have too many priorities and goals.

The purpose of a plan is to be implemented. A plan that does not get implemented does not fulfill its purpose. The solution is not to exclude a plan from your strategy. The solution is to make your plan simple.

A simple plan should consist of 5 priorities at most with stepping stones that will allow you to accomplish those priorities within a certain amount of time. The simpler your plan, the better. If you do not need 5 stepping stones to get the priority accomplished, do not use 5 stepping stones to get there. The less work you give yourself to accomplish a priority, the better.

Plans don’t have to backfire. Plans can lead to successful businesses and products that get incredible results. The only way to have a successful plan is by making it simple. By making your plan simple, you will know exactly what you need to implement and when you need to implement parts of your plan.

What Would You Do If You Could Never Fail?

January 5, 2014 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Many people limit themselves because of the fear of failure. These people do not want to make mistakes of any kind, and when it comes to trying something new, mistakes are going to be made. All of the successful people fail, but it is through persistence that the successful are where they are today. They did not choose to limit their potential.

We all have big dreams that seem impossible, but we all have potential that is greater than we realize. In order to see the potential come into effect, you need to pursue your dreams. This is the stage where people lower their standards and goals so accomplishing the dream becomes easier.

Let’s say you have a 100% success rate and will never fail at anything you pursue for the rest of your life. What would you do? Do you want to be a billionaire? Do you want to be a professional athlete? Do you want to be the next Tony Robbins of motivational speaking? Write down what you would want to do if you had a 100% success rate.

No one has the 100% success rate. However, if you come up with a plan to accomplish your dream, you will be able to get it accomplished. You don’t need the 100% success rate to make your dreams come true. You just need the dream, motivation, and perseverance in order to succeed.

5 Ways To Increase The Amount Of Time Visitors Spend On Your Blog

January 5, 2014 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Millions of people are competing for attention on the web. In fact, there are over 100,000 blogs being created every day. The need for attention is obvious, but getting and keeping attention is not easy. In order to get and keep attention, you need visitors who are going to stick around. Here are 5 ways to increase the amount of time your visitors spend on your blog:

  1. Add links to your older blog posts in your newer blog posts. This will give your visitors the ability to look at more of your blog post. Adding links to your older blog posts will also reduce your blog’s bounce rate. Here are some examples of this in action.
  2. Write quality content. Once you get someone to your blog, quality content will be the deciding factor of whether or not the visitor stays on your blog for an extended period of time.
  3. Get your visitors to subscribe to your blog. A subscribed visitor is one who will constantly come back to your blog. After reading your blog enough times, the subscriber may decide to look at pages of your blog posts.
  4. Have a menu with good options. Your blog’s menu needs to have a contact, about me, and other options as well. The more options you give a visitor, the longer they will stay on your blog.
  5. Show them your best. If you don’t have this on your blog already, you need the widget that shows your most popular blog posts. Many times, a blog’s most popular blog posts also happen to be the best posts on that blog. If someone sees your best, they will be inclined to stay on your blog.

By increasing the amount of time your visitors stay on your blog, your visitors will be able to know more about you. Your visitors may look at your products, contact you with a question, or buy one of your products. The longer you get your visitors to stay on your blog, the better your results will be.
