Preparing For The Launch

October 22, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

When is your next product coming out? The next question is when you’re going to tell people about that product.

Many businesses succeed because they tell their fans when they will be coming out with quality products. These people will tell their fans about a product months or even a year before it even comes out.

When you give the product enough time to get noticed, it starts to get more attention. By the time it has a lot of attention, people are waiting in a ginormous line to get that product.

Are you preparing enough for your product’s launch?

Are Your Goals Urgent?

October 21, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

The word goals can no longer stand alone and easily get accomplished. Now they have to be urgent. That’s why everyone’s scrambling all over the place as the year comes to an end. October is coming to a close, and then November will start off the last 8 weeks of the year (scary thought, isn’t it). I want you to pay attention to how much more work people are doing at this time. I want you to also pay attention to how much more work you’ll be doing at this time.

The last 8 weeks of the year create the urgency that we needed from the very beginning. Without this urgency, accomplishing goals becomes a lot more difficult.

You need to make all of your goals urgent in order to complete them faster. You need to feel the end of the year urgency throughout the year. You’re going to feel that urgency very soon, but I want you to carry that urgency into 2014 and keep it throughout the entire year. Don’t drop the urgency after January or February. Keep that urgency throughout the entire year so you will be able to accomplish more goals faster.

The 12 Week Year, Page 3

October 21, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

I recently got the book The 12 Week Year, and I’m almost done reading it. The first full sentence on page 3 is one of the most important sentences you will ever read.

“The marketplace only rewards those ideas that get implemented.”

I’ll be coming out with a YouTube video about The 12 Week Year soon enough, but here’s a brief review of the book:

The 12 Week Year, written by Brian P. Moran and Michael Lennington isn’t a book for you to get a good kickstart for 2014. This book kickstarts you for every 12 weeks. The problem with a year is that there is no sense of urgency. If you don’t get anything done in January, there’s always the other 11 months to catch up. This mentality will take most people past March, April, May, and so on without getting anything done. The 12 Week Year creates a sense of urgency for every week . After you read this book, you’ll find it much easier to successfully execute your ideas and thrive.

If you want to get more accomplished in a much shorter amount of time, The 12 Week Year is the perfect book for you.

Accomplish The Gruesome Tasks First

October 20, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Those are the tasks we worry about last. However, that worry builds, and as that worry builds, it affects our other work. Some gruesome tasks make every task look gruesome until it gets done.

The gruesome tasks need to be addressed first. It’s something that we all want to avoid, but all of the important tasks are unavoidable without bad consequences. It also feels really good once that gruesome task is completed. Then the other tasks are much easier.

There are going to be things that you will really want to do. There are also going to be things that you don’t want to do. Address the things that you don’t want to do first so you can have more time and enjoyment when you do the things that you do enjoy.

The Optimal Time

October 20, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Is now. It’s the time that you are currently using. You control how much of that time you use up doing different activities. The optimal time isn’t when you have the burning passion to achieve something. The optimal time is right now.

That burning passion to achieve something won’t come to you until you start. Implement your ideas, and shoot for the milky way!

The First Word

October 19, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Leads to the second word. The second word leads to the third word. The third word leads to a snowball effect which is extraordinary. I’m already up to 28 words on this blog post, and the snowball effect keeps on going.

The first step you take towards implementing an idea leads to the second step. As you continue taking more steps to implementing your idea, a snowball effect will occur. You’ll be completing step after step to implement your ideas and turn them into realities.

The snowball doesn’t get to go down the hill until you push it down. Whether pushing the snowball down the hill means typing the first word of a blog post or publishing your first YouTube video, you need to do that first step to get the snowball effect.

This blog post has 160 words total, but it started with only 1 word, just like all of our ideas. The snowball is waiting to be pushed.
