10 Ways To Get More Subscribers On YouTube

February 25, 2014 by Marc Guberti 21 Comments

I'm happy to see you around. You may want to subscribe to my blog. Thanks for visiting!

Welcome back! I am so happy to see that you have come back for more.

Have you ever wondered why some people struggle to get 10 subscribers while others are getting thousands of subscribers every day? There are plenty of factors that determine how many subscribers people get on YouTube. Some people on YouTube happened to be celebrities before they created their YouTube accounts while other people became celebrities because of YouTube.

Getting subscribers on YouTube is critical because your subscribers will know when you come out with a new video. More subscribers always results in more views and ultimately allow you to build a stronger presence on YouTube. In order to get more subscribers for your YouTube channel, follow these 10 tips:

  1. Have numerous videos. Many of the famous people on YouTube have uploaded well over 100 videos. If you want to get more subscribers on YouTube, you need to present your viewers with more videos. Giving your viewers more videos to watch will allow them to see more of what you have done. When your viewers see multiple videos, they will subscribe to your channel.
  2. Upload quality videos. You know about Geico’s hilarious Hump Day commercial. You remember the videos that went viral because they got a lot of viewers, but also because those viral videos were really good. In order to get more subscribers, you need to upload quality videos so your viewers have a good reason to subscribe to your channel.
  3. Host a giveaway on YouTube. Giveaways always result in more engagement, subscribers, and followers. Hosting a giveaway creates the buzz that will have other people telling their friends about you. The $1.5 million giveaway completely changed Esurance’s presence on Twitter.
  4. Spread the word about your YouTube channel on other social networks. Tell people about your videos using your other social networks. Telling other people about your channel and videos will result in more views and ultimately, more subscribers.
  5. Consistently upload videos. By consistently uploading videos to your YouTube channel, your viewers will know exactly when you will be coming out with another video. People will subscribe to your channel because they know you are active on YouTube, and they know the exact date and time of your next video.
  6. Tell your viewers what your next video will be. This helps to create the buzz for your next video. If your viewers want to stay informed about your next video, the best way to do that is by subscribing to your channel.
  7. Ask for people to subscribe to your channel at the end of your videos. This method will be effective depending on how good your videos are and how many videos your viewers watch. This method is utilized by people with over 10,000 subscribers. However, do not beg for your viewers to subscribe to your channel. Asking and begging are two different things. When asking for subscribers, use annotations. The annotations should tell people what they will get for subscribing to your channel.
  8. Interact with the people who comment on your videos. If someone comments on your video saying you did a fabulous job or asking you a question, respond to that comment with the right response. Whether thanking someone for the complement or answering a question, interacting with your viewers will make them more likely to subscribe to your channel.
  9. Add a YouTube widget to your blog. If your blog is already getting a lot of traffic, you will easily be able to get more subscribers with a YouTube widget. With the widget, visitors will be able to subscribe to your channel without leaving your blog. It’s a win-win!
  10. Interact with other YouTubers. You do not have to only interact with the people who leave comments on your videos. Instead, you can also leave comments on other people’s videos and interact with them that way.

Those are 10 powerful ways to get more YouTube subscribers. If you have any other methods to get more YouTube subscribers, or you want to share your opinion about this blog post, please share your thoughts below.

Why You Absolutely Positively Need Your Own Videos

February 24, 2014 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

video

Have you noticed the big shift? More people than ever are creating their own videos. Some of these videos are being uploaded to YouTube while other videos are being put together in order to create training courses. Videos have turned into an excellent way to make money online. There are plenty of options to make money from videos such as Google Adsense on YouTube videos, Udemy, and other options as well.

While the monetary value is an excellent reason to create your own videos, there is another important reason as well. People are increasingly limiting their trust to what they can see. A consumer is less likely to buy something on eBay if no image of the product is available. Imagine thinking something was new, but it really looked as if it had been used for a decade.

The experts are the ones who make themselves seen. There are numerous experts who have videos of themselves talking about different tactics. The reason they create videos is because people get to see them. With a video, the story becomes real. A student could write up the greatest essay for a college application and write down everything that the colleges want to see. The interview process allows the colleges to decide how legitimate someone’s application is.

In addition, having a video will grab people’s attention. A good blogging tip is to have short paragraphs instead of a giant wall of text because the paragraphs are easier to read. A video works differently. Instead of having to read anything, your visitors will be able to hear you talk. They do not have to stare at the screen to read the entire blog post. Instead, they can watch your video. Videos are not substitutes for blog posts, but instead, they go hand in hand.

If you have not created a video, I strongly recommend that you create and upload a video to YouTube this week. Videos have transformed numerous businesses, brands, and products. Creating videos has the potential to transform your business, brand, and products as well.

Is SEO Really Important?

February 24, 2014 by Marc Guberti 4 Comments

When it comes to getting more blog traffic, most people rush over to learn more about search engine optimization. By having a blog with good SEO, Google will move your blog posts closer to page one for your blog’s keywords. SEO is an important factor towards getting more blog traffic. However, SEO is also an overrated factor towards getting that traffic.

SEO does have the potential to lead to large traffic stats. Some bloggers get thousands of daily visitors just because they have good SEO. However, it takes a very long time in order to get that many visitors primarily from SEO. It took me over a year before I finally got 100 visitors from search engines in 1 day.

While it is important to make your blog’s SEO better, social media should be the main focus. Not only does social media help out with the SEO, but social media has the potential to drive more traffic to your blog than search engines can. Most of my visitors come from Twitter or Pinterest. Search engines do contribute to some of my blog’s traffic, but social media has contributed to 75% of my blog’s traffic.

It takes a long time before you get to see the results of improving your SEO while you will be able to see an immediate impact if you have enough targeted followers. SEO is important, but similar to how it takes a long time for a seed to become a tree, it takes a long time for you to see a dramatic change in your traffic from search engines.

7 Ways To Get More Blog Subscribers

February 23, 2014 by Marc Guberti 4 Comments

subscribe button

It is critical to have more blog subscribers. These people get your blog posts via email, and in today’s world, it is almost impossible to ignore a new message in the inbox. When you publish a blog post, your subscribers’ inboxes will each have a new message–your blog post. After that, your subscriber will read the email, and if they like your blog post, that subscriber may decide to visit your blog and see what other content is up there. These 7 tactics will allow you to get more subscribers for your blog.

  1. Consistently post new content. If your last blog post was from a month ago, your visitors will be less likely to subscribe. If you are adding new content to your blog every day, your visitors will be more likely to subscribe.
  2. Offer your subscribers a free report or free video. If you offer something for free to your subscribers, they will be more likely to subscribe to your blog. I was stuck at 10 subscribers for a very long time (most of those subscribers were family and friends). Then, I decided to offer a free 22 minute How To Master Pinterest Video Tutorial. Now I am getting multiple subscribers every day.
  3. Create a powerful presence on one or two social network. As my presence on Twitter and Pinterest become stronger, that translates into more blog traffic. In fact, more than 75% of my visitors come from my social networks.
  4. Make your subscription form easy to see. If your visitor has to scroll down in order to see your subscription form, it’s not easy to see. Your visitor should be able to see your subscription form right when they see your blog’s homepage. There are no exceptions for this one.
  5. Write quality content. Once you are getting visitors to your blog, quality becomes king. In order to gain (and keep) subscribers, you need to write quality content. If you do that, your visitors and subscribers will come back for more.
  6. Keep your visitors on your blog for a long period of time. If you reduce your blog’s bounce rate, more of your visitors will read more of your blog posts. If you keep someone on your blog for a longer period of time, they are more likely to subscribe to your blog and eventually buy your products.
  7. Tell your friends about your blog. Your friends are very likely to subscribe to your blog if you tell them about it. Show them what your blog looks like, tell them what your blog is about, and then tell them that they can subscribe to your blog by entering their email address. However, it is also important to avoid peer pressuring anyone to subscribe to your blog. Only tell the friends who take an interest in what you do and would be the types of people who would enjoy what you write.

Those are 7 tactics towards getting more blog subscribers. Do you have any additional suggestions or thoughts about this blog post? Please share your thoughts and suggestions below.

How To Market Your Product On Social Media

February 23, 2014 by Marc Guberti 4 Comments

When it comes to increasing more sales, social media is a very helpful tool. I have used social media to attract people to my books and talk with my customers. The mistake too many people are making on social media is promoting their product right away. In fact, I made this mistake in the beginning as well. My first tweet was a link to an eBook that was $9.97 that basically said, “Buy Now!” Not only was my first tweet bad, but the link does not work anymore.

In order to successfully market your product on social media, you can only tell people about your product once every three days. In addition, you need to build conversations with your followers. The best way to get a sale is to talk with your followers instead of telling them about one of your products. After you have a conversation with your follower, and they see a link to your product, that follower is more enticed to buy that product.

When you tell people about your product, tell them at the optimal time of the day. Tweriod is a Twitter tool that allows you to find out when your followers are on Twitter, and there are statistics that tell you the best and worst times to post on different social networks. By knowing the optimal time to schedule your posts about your product, that product will get more attention, and as a result, more sales.

If you want to know whether your marketing tactics are right or not, envision yourself as the customer. Does the customer get annoyed if you are sending a tweet about one of your products every hour? Are the customers happy if you are taking the time to talk with them and then telling them about your product every three days? If you envision yourself as a happy customer, you need to continue what you are doing. If you do not envision yourself as a happy customer, modifications need to be made.

Marketing a product on social media does not have to be a challenge. Marketing a product successfully on social media involves making connections and having conversations with your followers as if you were talking with your follower face to face. You can’t force people to notice your products and expect to get sales. You need to have your posts spread out so you don’t force someone to see so many posts about the same product too frequently. By telling your followers about your product every three days and having conversations with the followers you have, you will be able to boost your sales.

Lessons I Learned From My First Payout

February 22, 2014 by Marc Guberti 4 Comments

I will never forget the first month that I made money online. I made a grand total of $30.78 for the month with the help of Squidoo. Now, I am easily making hundreds of dollars every month and plan to be making $1,000 every month before the start of summer. In fact, I decided to take the approach of finding out how I could make $33 in one day (which adds up to $1,000 per month).

When I got that first payout, this blog did not exist. I never even thought of writing books. My Twitter presence was not nearly as strong as it is today. Implementing YouTube into my business plan was only a thought. Online training courses were not on my mind.

The first payout represented progress. The first payout told me that it was possible to make money online. When I started, I did have my doubts. At first, I believed this was a giant hoax. Then, someone bought a camera on one of my pages on Squidoo, and I saw a monetary value on my dashboard. The thought of making $6 amazed me. Getting the $30.78 payout amazed me more. I got a payout over $100 the following month, and now I have been making hundreds of dollars every month since.

However, now I want to reach the thousands. I have been writing more than ever so I can publish more books including my upcoming book Lead The Stampede. The first payout I ever received gave me the motivation to continue because after all of the hours of hard work, I finally got rewarded for it.

Instead of being happy with the $30.78, I decided that I should be getting more. I put in more work, and my earnings quadrupled in one month. Now, I will be putting in even more work than I have already been putting in so I can have my first $1,000+ month.

This is my journey towards financial freedom in the future. You are on a journey as well. Instead of settling with where you are, continue your journey so you can see the greater rewards on the other side.
