Hey Marc! I know this post is kind of old, but I just found your blog and have been going through your posts, and found this one.
I’ve been using Buffer to schedule my tweets, and recently upgraded to their Awesome Plan. I like how clean and easy to use it is.
However, since you have written a few times about Hootsuite, I wanted to see if you could point out any direct advantages it has over Buffer. According to your post and what I’ve seen of Hootsuite, it seems like Buffer can do pretty much the same things, plus a few more things (and I love the UI). But if Hootsuite has some advantages, I would definitely switch over.
Anyway, I love your writing, keep up the great work!

Thank you for the idea Daniel. I don’t use the Buffer tool often, but I love the Buffer Blog. I’ll do my research and eventually write an article comparing HootSuite and Buffer. I am a HootSuite Ambassador, but I’ll be honest about the pros and cons of each tool.
