Setting The Bar

February 19, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

When we want goals, we set the bar. This is what we have to do within a certain period of time. I have a lot of goals such as getting over 5,000 Twitter followers, running a mile in under 5 minutes, and making over $1,000 a month online all before the summer. Out of all of these goals, earning $1,000 a month for me will probably be the hardest since it requires the most work although it is very possible for me to achieve. I usually make over $300 a month right now, but with some work and me finding other ways to make money online, I could make that extra $700. There is no way you could set the bar too high because if you try to reach that bar, you are better than you left off. Setting the bar too low will prevent you from unlocking your true potential.

Shortcuts

February 18, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

I am a teenager entrepreneur, and video games are definitely a hobby of mine when I am not on the computer. I play a lot of games on my iPhone including Bike Race which is a racing game involving bikes. The faster your time on the course, the more likely you can beat the person who is playing against you. Finding shortcuts can definitely make winning a little easier. I didn’t know many of the shortcuts in the game, so I looked online and found many shortcuts.

What’s the lesson of this post? Sometimes you have to do some research to achieve your goals and improve your business (not just how good you do in a video game).

Returning The Favor

February 17, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

It is important for us to return the favor for any kind act. If you get treated to lunch, you should try to do something kind to the person who treated you. Returning the favor can build long lasting friendships and improve your business. A good mind with few worries will always result in a top-notch entrepreneur. We must be careful when we use the term, “returning the favor,” because it can also mean payback or revenge. Returning the favor in this regard hurts those around you and yourself. Getting involved in multple fights (physical or verbal) can result in a loss in confidence and the people getting into the fights will become angry individuals.

It is important to return the favor, but make sure you think of possible consequences and what your definition of returning the favor is at that moment.

Why It Is Important To Follow Others On Twitter

February 16, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Not everyone follows other people on Twitter, and at first I didn’t think it made a difference. However, following others is important because you are exposed to new ideas and articles. In fact, one of the most recent people I followed tweeted about an interesting article about Facebook which I would not have found if I didn’t follow that user. Tweeters do have a lot of good content, and some of them even follow back. The next question you may ask is if following others gives you more followers. I have only followed people for three days, and I have gained hundreds of Twitter followers. I was stuck in between 1,650 and 1,700 Twitter followers for a long time, but now I have well over 1,800 Twitter followers. I will be approaching 2,000 soon enough. It is important to follow people on Twitter, and that is what I am going to do. Of course you need great content if you want to keep your followers, but following others is always a good approach to Twitter and Social Media in general. You can find me on Twitter @MarcGuberti.

Payday On Squidoo

February 15, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Before I continue, I don’t want to be thought of as a show off. I am only talking about my earnings today to show you that it is possible for anyone to make money online. I am a teenage entrepreneur, and if I can do it, then you can do it too. Now I will talk about my earnings.

February’s payday was really good since it was earnings from December. I got the highest payout I have ever received at $485.20 for the month. A majority of the payout came from Amazon sales which won’t be as abundant in the middle of the year. $485.20 is a really good number that can boost the confidence of a lot of people, and seeing paydays like this makes me want to work harder so that future paydays bring numbers similar to this. My hope is to be in a position in which I will earn over $2,000 next February.

Do You Do What Your Title Says?

February 14, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

The title of a book could be 100 Ways To Succeed or The Best Ways To Have A Great Life. However, what you promote has to do exactly as the title says. If your title is The Best Ways To Make Money Online, you have to have content that supports that title. If the content does not support the title or is insufficient, you will lose future visitors and customers.
