10 Simple Ways To Become Successful On Twitter

January 10, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

  1. Retweet other people’s message that relate to what you talk about. People like that.
  2. Engage in conversation with your followers. Then new followers will become a part of the conversation.
  3. Tweet worthy content with a good title so that you get clicks.
  4. Make sure you help your followers. This one is crucial since not everyone knows as much as you.
  5. Tell people your expertise in your bio so that they want to follow you.
  6. Make your tweets shorter. You only have 140 characters, but you don’t have to use all of them.
  7. Schedule your tweets. No one likes a tweeter who sends 10 tweets in 5 minutes and then doesn’t send any others for the rest of the day.
  8. Comment on blog posts or anywhere else because you can include a link to your Twitter account afterward.
  9. See how the experts succeed on Twitter. What do they tweet and what are their expertise.
  10. Continue to tweet content that you know your followers will enjoy. If you don’t get any commentary or retweets from a tweet, chances are your followers didn’t like that tweet as much as a tweet that gets a lot of commentary and retweets.

Doing all of these steps will help you become successful on Twitter. This is not a one day wonder, but these steps help in the long run.

Debate

January 9, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

There is interesting conversation that can be brought up with debates such as the latest sports trades or news and so on. Sometimes bloggers and tweeters can become a part of the debate and voice their opinion. Unless you’re blog or Twitter account is all about the debate or talks about events or people involved, you should not take about debates online. Talking about a debate means taking your side and saying no to something else. You can’t please everyone with a different opinion about a debate. An example of this is siding with either the Republic or Democratic Party and being very clear about it to your visitors. The visitors who side with the other party may lose some respect for you which may lead to lost Twitter followers or less visitors on your blog. You don’t know who will lose interest if you voice your opinion in a debate.

Golden Age

January 8, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Everyone experiences a golden age where sales flourish, thousands of people (or millions) click ads on your website, or your social media sites can be raking some serious revenue. These events always happen the most near Christmas because almost everyone who lands on your website is a customer looking for a product. The only question is the question that we must always ask ourselves about a golden age. Is it meant to last, or will it vanish at a certain point. Will all of the sales, clicks, and revenue actually go away? If you don’t do anything to capitalize on the gain, losing out on more sales, clicks, etc. is possible. If you want a really good business, you have to find the areas that you’re good at and work the hardest there. The best places to work really hard at and to make money is where the sky is truly the limit.

One of my resolutions is to make stop motion animation with Legos. I have built sets that will help out with that, and I will be having some free time soon to work on that resolution. It’s only a week into the New Year, and are you keeping your resolutions so far, or are they forgotten?

When Is A Blog Finished?

January 6, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

A blog can never be finished. There is always content to be added, different ways to look at the same thing, inviting people to do guest posts, and making sure your blog ranks well with Google. Even the best blogs will lose their traffic if they are not updated properly. A blog cannot be finished because blogs are designed to inform your visitors while possible selling some products or showing ads so that you get some kind of commission. Blogs are never finished, and that is the magic of a blog.

But

January 5, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

But can be a conjunction, preposition, adverb, or a noun that can have disastrous effects on individuals. Although the use of this word can sometimes be good, the word but usually refers to limitations or why something just won’t work. When you are an entrepreneur with your own business or if you are an entrepreneur right now, never use the word “but” when talking about your work. Negatively talking to an individual or even worse–yourself (or your work), is a demeanor that needs to be tended to right away before it becomes a permanent stain in your life.
