Scattered Information

June 18, 2013 by Marc Guberti 1 Comment

When it comes to essential information, it cannot be scattered. Scattered information gets lost. Being able to group a lot of information in one source will allow you to see previous information that may be important right now.

There are a lot of social networks and blogs that we see on the web. Some of the content on those social networks and blogs are really good while we have all seen our fair share of really bad content as well.

The good content is the content that you want to hold on to. You don’t hold on to the information of good content by writing it down on a small piece of paper. That results in the accumulation of small papers containing unorganized information. With a lot of small papers, a lot of them will get misplaced, even if they are really important.

If you are looking for ways to become more productive, getting rid of bad habits is a great start. There are bad habits that we all have, and all of those habits must be eliminated in order for our businesses to move forward.

Expiration Dates Are Everywhere

June 6, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Information gets old. Cheese rots. Membership to a website is over. There are many things that expire over time. The main reason things expire is because information is updated, someone wants more money, or food just went bad.

There is no set expiration date for a blog. With daily posts containing updated information, the blog itself will never get old. There are some blog posts that may have false statistics such as “Twitter only having 100 million users.” That was true a while ago, but now that statement is false. Twitter currently has over 500 million users, but that can change as well.

New information contradicts old information, more money is needed to regain membership to a website, and cheese rots so you know if it is safe to eat or not. The visitor is always searching for something. Make sure you give them something without an expiration date.

The only way to do that is to constantly update your blog, Twitter account, and everywhere else that you write online.
