In order to be unique, you need to do what no one else is doing. You have to be the only person who offers a specific product or service. Being the only person based on age and other variables also comes into effect. As long as people know you are the only one or “one of the very few,” you will get noticed.

The problem with being like the competition is that clients can easily go to someone else. By being unique, clients won’t be able to go to someone else without having a completely different experience. What are the problems in your niche that aren’t being given enough attention? You can create a product or service that highlights that one thing that isn’t being given enough attention. By giving a problem attention, people will start to pay attention and realize that the problem exists. When they realize the problem exists, there’s only one solution–you.  If getting more conversations on social media was a problem that didn’t get enough attention, and you gave it attention, everyone would be scrambling to find a solution to that problem.
