Be Unique In Your Niche By Doing What No One Else Does

December 24, 2013 by Marc Guberti 6 Comments

In order to be unique, you need to do what no one else is doing. You have to be the only person who offers a specific product or service. Being the only person based on age and other variables also comes into effect. As long as people know you are the only one or “one of the very few,” you will get noticed.

The problem with being like the competition is that clients can easily go to someone else. By being unique, clients won’t be able to go to someone else without having a completely different experience. By offering your clients a good experience and being unique, they won’t stop buying your products.

What are the problems in your niche that aren’t being given enough attention? You can create a product or service that highlights that one thing that isn’t being given enough attention. By giving a problem attention, people will start to pay attention and realize that the problem exists. When they realize the problem exists, there’s only one solution–you.  If getting more conversations on social media was a problem that didn’t get enough attention, and you gave it attention, everyone would be scrambling to find a solution to that problem. By the time getting more conversations on social media became a well-known problem, find another problem that people don’t pay enough attention to.

This will allow you to be ahead of the competition and change the way that your niche works. Give yourself the driving wheel and steer your niche in any direction you desire.

There are a lot of things that individuals do that no one else would do. Some of these people will do those things for $5 on Fiverr. There are some strange gigs on Fiverr that show people being unique in different ways.

Do the one thing that no one else does. Once you do that, find another thing that no one else does and do that too.

10 Ways To Get More Likes On Facebook

December 23, 2013 by Marc Guberti 5 Comments

Facebook has over a billion users and is the most popular social network. Being the most popular social network also makes Facebook the noisiest social network in which getting noticed is difficult. However, there are certain ways to get noticed on Facebook and get a lot of people to like your page. Here are 10 ways to do that:

  1. Post consistently. People need to see you as an active user on Facebook in order to remember who you are and go back to your page often.
  2. Host weekly contests that require likes in order to participate. People will like your page to be a part of the giveaway, and soon some of that person’s friends will also want to be a part of the giveaway. You can giveaway your product (book, training course, etc) and get more likes at the same time!
  3. Build your following. The bigger your following is, the more likes you will get. Hosting successful contests is a great way to grow your following on Facebook.
  4. Post what your fans like. If your fans are into social media, posting interesting articles about social media will get more likes.
  5. Embed Facebook posts on your blog. More people will be able to see your post, and as a result more people will like your post.
  6. Post videos. There are some videos that are getting hundreds of thousands of likes on Facebook.
  7. Use humor whenever possible. If you give someone a good laugh, they are more likely to click the like button.
  8. Post random facts that are still relevant to your page. If your page is about social media, posting a daily social media statistic will get the job done.
  9. Post infographics. Infographics are very popular on the web, and most people read the entire infographic because it comes text with pictures.
  10. Post inspirational quotes. Those always get liked on Facebook and shared on any other social network as well.

Those are 10 ways to get more likes on Facebook. These methods will allow you to get more likes than ever before.

Components Of A Great YouTube Video

December 23, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

YouTube Video Tips

YouTube videos are constantly getting uploaded and published. In fact, over 100 hours worth of videos gets published on YouTube every minute. However, not all YouTube videos are created equal. There are components that go into making a quality YouTube video.

The first component of a great YouTube video is an intro. You can’t assume that everyone in the world knows about you (even if you’re one of those power users with a million subscribers). Quickly tell people who you are and where else they can find you on the web.

After the intro, you need to tell your viewers what you are going to talk about or do in the video. I either directly tell people what I am going to talk about or quickly lead to it. The title of your video should be about what you are talking about or doing in the video. People need to know and be reminded about what you are going to do.

After you tell your viewers what it presented in the video, you need to do a good job at presenting. Highlight all of the key points of your speech, taste test all of the foods you said you would taste test, and do anything else that you said you would do.

Another component towards making your YouTube video great is with an added bonus. The added bonus can be almost anything. At the end of the video, you can include a coupon for one your product. You can also provide a teaser for your next video or have two videos in one.

There are over 100 hours of videos published on YouTube every minute. In order to have your videos stand out, you need to implement these components so you create great YouTube videos. After you create a great YouTube video, all you need to do is get more views for that YouTube video.

How To Get Interviewees

December 22, 2013 by Marc Guberti 4 Comments

By interviewing people, you will be able to establish yourself as an expert. Finding the people to interview is the challenging part, until now. People say yes to interviews very often. In fact, 90% of the time, people say yes to get interviewed. All you have to do is find the people who want to get interviewed. Here’s how:

  1. Create a list of the people you want to interview. Make sure these are also people your subscribers and followers want to hear from. These people should be recognized experts of your niche.
  2. Contact them on social networks or via email. Ask them if they would like to be interviewed and tell them what you want to interview them about. You need to have clarity in order to get the fastest response and more people who say yes.
  3. Find a way to do the interview. I use Google+ Hangouts to host my interviews. Google+ Hangouts are free and reliable, and here’s why you need to use them.
  4. Get started! Keep on finding people who you want to interview and keep on repeating this process. By doing a good job with the first interview, the person is bound to come back for a second interview.

All of these interviews will allow you and your guest to get more visibility. People are impressed because you interviewed an expert. In addition, people get to learn more about the person you interview.

How To Use Day By Day Planning To Increase Your Productivity

December 22, 2013 by Marc Guberti 2 Comments

Day by day planning is a big concept in my book, 365 Ways To Improve Your Business In 2014. By planning out your weeks and months day by day, you will have a very clear vision about what needs to get accomplished and when.

I started implementing a day by day plan, and I have gotten more accomplished than ever before. I am writing more blog posts and giving myself more time than ever before to write those blog posts. I have been able to do more YouTube videos in a day than I usually do in a month. I have also learned more about my niche by reading numerous books and blog posts.

The day by day plan is one that involves some uncomfort on your part. The goals worth accomplishing and doing the work for are the ones that involve some uncomfort in order to accomplish them. You may have to work an extra hour every day in order to get your goals accomplished.

Having a day by day action plan will give yourself the commitment you need to accomplish your goals. When I write goals in my notebook, I do everything I can to get those goals accomplished. Writing down goals is like giving your signature which is like giving your word. The day by day plan has motivated me to do a lot of the things that I do now.

Try out the day by day plan. The day by day plan has changed the way I accomplish my goals, and it can help you too.

The Niche Stampede

December 21, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

The competition is looking for the pattern that works. Lower prices may be the pattern. Quality with a temporary coupon may be the pattern. No matter what the pattern is, the competition is looking for the pattern that works.

When the pattern that works is found, most of the competition learns about it. The result is a stampede of competitors trying to implement the pattern and have the pattern work for them. The pattern will work for the competitors, but it will work differently for different people. Some of the competitors will be able to get results similar to the person who found the pattern. Others will end up with something that works, but the results won’t be as good.

In order to lead the stampede, you need to be different from the competition while implementing the pattern that works. That is how you will be able to stand out and ultimately lead the stampede.
