Why Following Others On Twitter Is Critical Towards Success

November 30, 2013 by Marc Guberti 6 Comments

When I first joined Twitter, I thought I would eventually become one of those people with 100,000 followers and end up following only 100 people. I was able to get as far as 1,667 followers while only following 12 people. However, the number 1,667 didn’t change for months. On some days, I would gain a follower and have 1,668 followers. It always seemed as I would lose one follower the very next day.

This is the path I took for months. It seemed as if no matter what I did, I would remain stuck with only 1,667 followers forever without any signs of improvement. I tried everything I could to get more followers except what I was very reluctant to do: follow others. One day, all of the frustration piled on until I made my move: I started following others.

Following others also led me to following back. As my following count soared, I started to get more followers. All of a sudden, I got almost 100 followers. Then I got 194 followers in one day. Then I settled at a consistent 30 followers every day. Getting 30 followers every day was a lot better than being stuck at 1,667.

As my following continues to grow, I decided to ask myself how I was able to get the big following by following others and why I wasn’t able to get the big following by only following 100 people. After some thought, the answer became clear, and it applies for a lot of people on Twitter right now.

The reason I was stuck at 1,667 followers for a long time was because people did not know me. The best way to get people to know who you are is by following them and hoping for a follow back. As more people get to know you, your will build a bigger following. That’s how I went from being stuck to gaining 30 followers a day to gaining hundreds of followers every day.

People need to know about you. By following people on Twitter, you are telling them that you are on the web. When enough people follow you back, and you continue to tweet consistently, your presence on the web becomes powerful and extraordinary.

Why Math Is Very Important For Business

November 29, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Math allows entrepreneurs to do a variety of things. Entrepreneurs can estimate when they can reach certain milestones by calculating properly. They also know how many followers they need to get every day in order to reach an end of the year goal. Math also allows us to calculator other things such as how many followers you would need per day to get 100,000 followers every year (274 followers per day).

Math also allows you to read statistics better. Reading the statistics will allow you to identify which methods for your business are working and not working. They will allow you to establish your biggest resource of traffic and which ones need to pick it up. I know which of my social networks are leading to more traffic on my blog, and I know which of the other ones are lagging.

By reading the statistics and using math properly, you will be able to reach conclusions about your business that will allow it to grow. You will be able to calculate the change over time, the growth, and the prosperity. All you have to do is make those calculations come true.

Why We All Love Christmas Music

November 29, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Christmas time is the most wonderful time of the year. We all stop our work to listen to the radio. Many of the Christmas songs have been around for a while. For most Christmas songs on the radio, remembering when they weren’t on the radio at this time is very difficult.

The Christmas music gives us that happy feeling that Christmas is approaching. On December 27th, when all of the Christmas music stops, everyone gets sad. 300 days later, Christmas music comes back, the jingle bells ring once again. Everyone is watching It’s A Wonderful Life, The Polar Express, and all of the other Christmas movies. The Christmas music is the starting point for what we have been waiting for. The Christmas music reawakens the desire for Christmas. Then, after watching movies, watching the snow fall, and looking at a countdown to Christmas on the web, we realize that Christmas is coming very soon.

Christmas music is soothing, but if Christmas music were played in July, it wouldn’t get as much attention. Everyone knows well in advance when the Christmas music goes on the radio…some time after Halloween but before Thanksgiving.

In order to get the most sales from your product, people need to know about your product well in advance. Tell people about your product months or even a year before it comes out. They’ll be waiting.

The Chain Effect Of Success

November 28, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

In order to achieve success, you have to go after it. That’s where everything stops. Everyone knows the significance of going after success, but the work proves to be very challenging. Getting there proves to be difficult because not everyone knows the secret about success.

The secret about success is that it’s a chain effect. Once you are successful in a certain area, you will be successful in similar areas as well. Someone who is successful in one sport tends to be successful in other sports as well. Some baseball players are also good football players. Some football players are also good baseball players. Some basketball players have also played baseball.

Once you are successful in one area, the chain effect of success automatically makes you become successful in other areas as well. In these other areas, the same rules apply. You need a muscular upper body in order to be really good at both football and basketball. You need to know how to write very well in order to be both a remarkable author and blogger.

Focus on one area, and go after success in that area. Once you succeed in one area, you automatically succeed in other areas as well.

What Are You Thankful For?

November 28, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. On this day, we recall what we are thankful for, but instead of recalling what we are thankful for every day of the year, most people only recall what they are thankful for on this one day. There are 364 other days of the year and barely 30 days left before the New Year.

Instead of just feeling thankful on Thanksgiving, we should feel thankful all year long. Here is a quick but very beneficial activity that will allow you to be thankful.

  1. Recall what you are thankful for.
  2. Write all of it down on a piece of paper.
  3. Tape that piece of paper to one of the walls in your room.

What are you thankful for?

Are You Blogging For The Right Reasons?

November 27, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Blogging has been revealed as a way of increasing traffic, making sales, getting more followers, placing the ad units, and so on. However, those are not the right reasons to blog.

The primary reason you should be blogging is because you like to write and you like what you write about. In the beginning, any new blog will struggle to a certain degree to get the traffic, sales, followers, and advertising money. The people who blog just for the traffic, sales, followers, and advertising money will quickly be disappointed when their blogs don’t do well in the beginning.

These people don’t stick with blogging because they quickly realize it will take a long time before their blog becomes the next big thing. If you are writing blog post after blog post because you love what you do, then the traffic, sales, followers, and advertising money (if you really want to put ads on your blog) will come a byproducts.

Don’t blog for the fame. After you blog long enough, you do get the fame, but don’t just write blog posts for the fame. Love what you do because you’re going to be doing what you do for a long time.
