When Free And Viral Collide

November 14, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Free products are going to encourage sign ups and build awareness of your presence as an entrepreneur and business. Going viral will do the same thing. When free is able to combine with viral, the result is magical.

Viral content spreads through social networks, word of mouth, and through all of the other possible methods of spreading. However, once content loses its virality, people don’t pay attention as much. The blog that got a spike in traffic is going to be back where it was before in a matter of days. Maybe 20% of that increase in traffic will stay for an extended period of time, but that’s probably all of the extra traffic the blog is going to get after it went viral.

Free solves the problem. People sign up for a blog or subscribe to a channel because something is free. Free can take on a variety of forms such as videos, PDF’s, books, and more. When something is offered for free, people do everything they can to get the free product. When content goes viral, and people see the free product being offered, they grasp the opportunity. Then, they get emailed each time you come out with a new blog post. These people will remember you long enough to see you frequently. As more people see you more times, their trust for you will grow. The best friends are seen more than the acquaintances. In the end, more people will see you more times, and you will get more sales.

Viral traffic comes and goes, but when free and viral collide, the traffic comes and stays.

Your Action Is Your Choice, Not The Critics’

November 13, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

“That’s wrong!” “It will never work.” “What were you thinking?”

The critics have more ways to voice their opinions. Some of the critics will praise your ideas while others will do everything in the power to say how bad your idea is. The critics, no matter how good or bad they talk about you, cannot have control over your decisions.

The critics thought an airplane would not be possible. The critics thought that televisions would become a fad because no one would want to sit still and watch something. The critics thought that cars wouldn’t make it. In the end, all of the critics are just giving you suggestions.

The critics are just telling you what they think is right or wrong about your idea. You decide whether or not to implement any of the suggestions that the critics give you. You make the calls when it comes to your idea and how to implement it. The critics may say that your idea won’t make it, but if you believe in your idea and are willing to implement that idea, you can prove the naysayers wrong just like the people who came up with the televisions, cars, airplanes, and other ideas which had their naysayers as well. Those naysayers have now fallen silent, and your idea has the power to make your naysayers fall silent as well.

When The Solution Involves Change

November 13, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Entrepreneurs and businesses strive to do better. They want more sales, more customers, better products, and more visibility. In order to become better, it is sometimes necessary to change your approach. When the word change comes into play everyone is quick to question it. The questions are not about how the change can be a benefactor. The questions are about all of the risks and dangers associated with that change.

We have become resistant to change to the point where we don’t recognize the good changes. Lowering prices can be a good change, or selling more quality products with higher price tags will lead to a bigger commission. The ways your business are currently growing work, but as the market changes, methods that once worked will not work anymore. Television advertising is not what it used to be. Mobile advertising is the next big thing, but it won’t last forever. There will eventually be a new kind of advertising will dethrone mobile.

The market is always changing, and being resistant to that change is not an option. You can think of a game changer for your business, but if that game changer involves you making significant changes to your business or a product, you are going to resist that change to a certain degree. After you determine that the change will be beneficial, don’t hold back. Put the change into effect because that change is going to help your business thrive in the long run.

Finding The Priorities

November 12, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Writing the list of goals is the starting point towards accomplishing what needs to get done. Without direction, not all of the priorities will get accomplished. The priorities are the goals that need to be accomplished the most. There are some goals that are more important to accomplish than others. Some goals will have a bigger impact on your business than others.

Writing down the goals is a way to address what you need to accomplish. By ranking your goals and organizing them into priorities, you are able to give yourself the course of direction that will allow you to accomplish those goals.

Your list of goals is the map. The priorities act as your compass.

If Everyone Knew How To Do Everything

November 10, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Nothing would be extraordinary or unique. Everyone would know how to make a computer. Everyone would know how to code an app. Everyone would know how to make a robot.

The reason there are extraordinary and unique things happening is because everyone doesn’t know how to do something. There are things that we don’t know how to do.

If you know something that the competition doesn’t know, they will want to know. We won’t outgrow the need for information. If you’re the person who knows how to do something important, people will want to know how to do it as well.

If the thing you do isn’t important, make it important. Tell people why what you’re doing is very important and why they should know too. Then, people will want to know what you know. These people will end up subscribing to your blog, following you on social networks, and reading your biography on Wikipedia or anywhere else they can find it.

The 500th Post And The Will To Continue

November 10, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

When I wrote the first post for this blog, it wasn’t getting any traffic. 500 posts later, my blog is getting hundreds of visitors every day. Most bloggers give up before they get the hundreds of visitors every day that they were destined to get.

This blog post was not written for me to boast about an achievement. Instead, this blog post provides a testimonial. If you are a blogger who isn’t getting any traffic yet, or if you don’t have a lot of followers on social media, those visitors and followers are going to come. There will be days when you consider doing something else.

If you continue to blog and use social media while finding new ways to reach more people, you will achieve incredible results. You will go from no visitors to hundreds of visitors. You will go from 100 followers to 1,000 followers. You will go from 1,000 followers to 10,000 followers.

Entrepreneurs will all encounter a point in which they will consider giving up. If you don’t give up on your entrepreneurial dream, your ideas are going to soar.
