The 500th Post And The Will To Continue

November 10, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

When I wrote the first post for this blog, it wasn’t getting any traffic. 500 posts later, my blog is getting hundreds of visitors every day. Most bloggers give up before they get the hundreds of visitors every day that they were destined to get.

This blog post was not written for me to boast about an achievement. Instead, this blog post provides a testimonial. If you are a blogger who isn’t getting any traffic yet, or if you don’t have a lot of followers on social media, those visitors and followers are going to come. There will be days when you consider doing something else.

If you continue to blog and use social media while finding new ways to reach more people, you will achieve incredible results. You will go from no visitors to hundreds of visitors. You will go from 100 followers to 1,000 followers. You will go from 1,000 followers to 10,000 followers.

Entrepreneurs will all encounter a point in which they will consider giving up. If you don’t give up on your entrepreneurial dream, your ideas are going to soar.

Every Blogger Needs To See This Picture

Why Bloggers Give Up Traffic Graph

Blogging can get rough at times. After constantly writing blog post after blog post, the same number of visitors come (or at times, less visitors come). However, there is a gold mine waiting to be discovered. That gold mine is your blog. Don’t take your eye off the prize, and do the consistent work that will allow you to receive that prize.

The Impatient Desire To Win

November 2, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

There are plenty of sports games. There are the debates. There are the board games as well. We have been taught to understand that winning is better than losing. Winning the soccer game is better than losing the soccer game.

However, people want the win too quickly. People think of the fame, the glory, and the rewards that go along with winning. If you beat the competitor, you’re the #1 guy or gal. The thought of #1 makes people set the bar too high. When the bar gets set too high, people become impatient and want to win faster.

Track runners run faster because they want to cross the finish line first. They push up their pace and end up being exhausted on the final lap. Then, everyone comes from behind and catches up. I’ve seen it happen to others and myself as well. Thinking about the fame, glory, and rewards makes us go out of control. We lose out on what could have happened because we were too focused on getting the win.

You can’t go from startup to thriving business with a sprint. Becoming successful is a marathon, and I’m sure you’ve heard that many times. However, some people think that they’re the exception, and they sprint the first mile of the marathon. The other 25 miles aren’t going to end very well.

Some people can’t fish. They are able to go on a boat and throw the line into the water. However, many people aren’t willing to wait that long for a fish to surface. It’s entirely possible that a fish doesn’t bite for hours. Fishing requires a lot of patience in order to get the win, but many people want the win as soon as they can get it.

The fame, glory, and rewards should motivate you to work harder. However, those thoughts should not motivate you to rush to a finish line that is all the way at the end of the rainbow. Persistence is powerful, and it will allow you to get to the other side of the rainbow where you will thrive.

You Have It Or You Can Get It

October 30, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

No one is born with a hammer or a baseball bat in their hand. People aren’t just “born with the talents” that they have. In order for anyone to become talented at something, that person must continuously practice at what that person want to be. Talent doesn’t come natural. There are going to be some stumbles along the way.
If you don’t have a particular talent, and you really want that talent, you can always get that talent. You either have that talent right now, or you can get that talent by practicing.

Inputs And Outputs

October 29, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

The more we put into something, the more we are going to get out of it. The more time we put in our businesses, the more results we are going to see. 30 extra minutes can make a dramatic difference for any business. Extra hours will give you an even better output.
We all want that big output. We all want to get the results we want to see. The problem is that while looking at the output, we forget about the input. Without good  inputs, we can’t get good outputs. The input leads to the output, but not everyone wants to look at it that way.
30 extra minutes has made the difference between 20 followers every day and 100 followers every day. Those 30 extra minutes are eventually going to lead to almost 30,000 extra followers every year. Now the output looks really big, but it’s only because the amount of input got higher. With those extra 30 minutes, I created a bigger output. What can you do with those extra 30 minutes every day?
30 extra minutes every day is going to change your business because it increases your input. The more you increase the input, the more you are going to increase your output. You’re business is ready to evolve and reach all of those dream outputs. All you have to do is give your business a high amount of input.

From Crawl To Leaps

October 23, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

There’s a common characteristic among all successful entrepreneurs. They’re businesses and blogs started out as crawlers–the smallest results came in. Going from 1 visitor to 2 visitors was the best feeling for these people in the beginning.Getting one sale every month was the best thing that ever happened.

Now these people are taking giant leaps of success. Their products sell out. Their blogs get hundreds of visitors every day. They keep on seeing better results. The difference is no longer by one visitor. It’s by hundreds of visitors.

You may be crawling your way to a giant leap of traffic just like how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly. You may not know when the big leap is coming, but it will come.
