10 Ways To Get More People To See Your Facebook Posts

June 13, 2014 by Marc Guberti 5 Comments

There are some Facebook Pages that get thousands of likes every day, and over 100,000 people see all of the posts that get published. However, a majority of Facebook Pages are struggling to get noticed. Some of these Facebook Pages only get seen by 10 people every day while others get seen by only 10 people every week. If those numbers were able to grow consistently, then a previously unknown Facebook Page would end up becoming a very successful Facebook Page with over 100,000 likes.

Imagine what your Facebook Page would look like with 100,000 likes. Imagine not just having expert status but being an elite expert in your niche. That would be really cool. No matter what your Facebook Page is about, it is possible for anyone to get 100,000 likes without buying them. You don’t need to contact someone who sells 100,000 Facebook likes for $29 to have the big number. Instead, you need to learn how to get more people to see your Facebook Page. By implementing these tactics, you will get more people to see your Facebook Page, and for the long-term, allow your Facebook Page to eventually surpass 100,000 likes.

  1. Post content that people would want to like and share. This content needs to be related to your niche and be something valuable at the same time. All of your posts need to have a combination of those two components.
  2. Post at least 4 times every day throughout the day. Schedule your Facebook posts to appear at certain times of the day so most of your audience sees the posts. The best times to send out posts vary for everyone. If you are using a Facebook Page, you will be able to gain access to Facebook’s analytics which tell you when a majority of the people who liked your page are logged in.
  3. Post meaningful content. In addition to posting about something worth sharing, the content in your posts needs to encourage people to share your content. Including a link to your blog post with that blog post’s title may be good enough for Twitter, but it is not good enough for Facebook.
  4. Track your results. You need to send out posts that are similar to your most popular posts. By tracking your results, you will be able to identify the ideal times to send out your posts and what color the pictures in your post need to be.
  5. Promote your Facebook Page on your blog. Your biggest source of organic fans is the visitors that you already get on your blog. Your blog is your own home on the web. People who visit your blog and like what they see will be more likely to like your Facebook Page.
  6. Use your social networks to promote your Facebook Page the right way. Instead of begging people to like your Facebook Page or do a like exchange, send out tweets and pins containing your Facebook posts every day. Sharing the posts on your Facebook Page will generate more awareness for that page and also result in more likes.
  7. Use Facebook Advertising to spread the word about your Facebook Page. Most of the successful Facebook Pages either currently use Facebook Advertising to market themselves or used Facebook Advertising at a certain point in time. Facebook Advertising allows you to find very targeted people based on state, city, country, age, interests, and more.
  8. Offer a free prize in exchange for a like. More people will like your Facebook Page if they get a reward (the free prize) for doing so. It’s only logical. In addition, you can also offer a bonus free prize if people like specific posts on your Facebook Page. That will boost the number of likes, shares, and engagement as well.
  9. Have a giveaway that requires people to share the post. If one of your posts goes viral on Facebook, then your entire Facebook Page goes viral. Having a giveaway is a great way to encourage sharing. The more compelling the giveaway prize is, the more people are going to share the post. Have a $25 Amazon Gift Card giveaway and watch how quickly it spreads all across Facebook. More people will see your post for sure.
  10. Promote your Facebook Page in your YouTube videos. Videos have become very important over the years, and YouTube is a great way to promote your Facebook Page. YouTube gets over 1 billion visitors every month, and some videos end up going viral. If your video goes viral, then your Facebook Page will go viral too.

As more people see your Facebook posts, the number of people who see your posts will grow exponentially. If 1,000 people share your Facebook post, that means at least 10,000 people saw the post. When someone shares a post, some of their friends get to see the post that they shared. The immediate result of this is that more people get to see your post and hear your message.

What are your thoughts of using a Facebook Page and getting more people to see your Facebook posts? Do you have any additional tips about getting more exposure on Facebook? Please share your thoughts and advice below.

Why Posting Your Tweets To Facebook Is A Bad Idea

April 21, 2014 by Marc Guberti 8 Comments

Posting Tweets To Facebook Settings

There are too many people who connect Twitter and Facebook together so all of their tweets are automatically posted on their Facebook accounts. Some people who connect their Twitter and Facebook accounts do so just to make sure something appears on their Facebook account every day while others think they are effectively systematizing their Facebook accounts.

However, if your Facebook and Twitter accounts are connected, all of your tweets will get posted on your Facebook account. If you are having a conversation with one of your friends or business partners on Twitter, all of the tweets you send during that conversation will also get posted to your Facebook account. The two problems that occur is that some people will not care for the conversation, but the bigger problem is that the people viewing your posts only get to see your part of the conversation. They do not get to see how your friend or business partner is responding to your tweets.

While it is possible to schedule posts, it is not possible to run a successful, systematized social network. It is possible to run a successful social network, but attempting to systematize that social network results in you sacrificing the most important thing about social media: being social. Instead of trying to systematize Facebook by posting your tweets to Facebook, you should create quality posts on Facebook (scheduled or at the moment) and respond to the people who respond to your Facebook posts.

Social media was created to dramatically increase the ability for people to communicate with others in the same town, city, state, country, continent, and world. In order to be successful on social media, we need to use social media for the reason it was created in the first place. Connecting Facebook and Twitter in an attempt to systematize your Facebook account is not the right way to get the job done.

10 Ways To Get More Comments On Your Facebook Posts

April 13, 2014 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Facebook

There are some people on Facebook who do not receive many comments for their Facebook posts while there are others who regularly get thousands of comments for their posts. Getting more comments on your Facebook posts will allow you to interact with your audience and build more connections in the process. The businesses that see the best results from their Facebook pages are also the ones getting thousands of comments for their Facebook posts. Comments are an important way to show people you are popular, and in this blog post, I am going to share with you 10 different ways to get more comments on your Facebook posts.

  1. Get more friends. This is a simple and easy way to get more comments on your Facebook posts. The person with 1,000 friends on Facebook (whether those 1,000 friends are really friends or just acquaintances in real life) is going to get more comments for their posts than the person with 50 friends.
  2. Post things that people would want to comment on. Did you have a fun time at Bermuda, buy a big house, have some really cool fan art for your fans, or feel like being motivational? Those are some of the many things that people will comment on. This is a common sense tip, but few people tend to take this one seriously.
  3. Include pictures. It has been proven on every social network that including a picture will result in more likes. Saying that you are in Bermuda and taking a picture of the pink sand and posting it on Facebook are two different things.
  4. Ask questions. Do you think Mark Sanchez should have stayed with the Jets? Do you think aliens are going to invade the earth? Asking questions will encourage people to leave their opinions–in the form of comments.
  5. Be comical. A joke always gets the job done. People will either tell you that your joke was really funny or let you know how bad it was. Either way, you get more comments on your posts.
  6. Interact with the people who leave comments by tagging them. By tagging people on Facebook, they will be notified on Facebook and through their email that they were tagged. This will allow conversations to eventually develop into strong connections.
  7. Comment on other people’s Facebook posts. By commenting on other people’s posts on Facebook, you will encourage others to return the favor by leaving a comment on one of your posts.
  8. Be active on Facebook. In order to be noticed, you need to be very active on Facebook. If you are not posting on Facebook at least 3 times every day, you are not getting as many likes and comments on your posts as you could be getting.
  9. Use direct messages to have conversations with the people who have already left comments. These conversations will allow you to interact with your friends and customers and build strong connections. Direct messaging someone says that they are special because the message is private.
  10. Promote your Facebook account or business page on your blog. The people who visit your blog would be eager to see where you are on other social networks. As you continue to build your presence as a blogger, some people will feel honored when you tag them, like one of their posts, or reply to someone’s comment.

Those are the 10 ways to get more comments on Facebook. As your Facebook posts get more comments, your readership will grow, and you will be able to build stronger connections. What are your thoughts about the list, and do you have any additional tips you would like to share?

Why You Need A Facebook Page

March 27, 2014 by Marc Guberti 4 Comments

Facebook Tips

Facebook is the largest social network on the web with over 1 billion users. Many companies utilize Facebook to bring traffic to their blogs and products. However, you are making a big mistake if your personal account is your professional account. In order to be professional on Facebook, you need to have a Facebook Page.

Having a Facebook Page for your business will allow you to focus specifically on that business. All of the dog pictures can now go on your personal account and away from the people who are only interested in your business. In order to establish a powerful presence on Facebook for your brand, you need to have a business page.

If you create a Facebook Page, people will have the option of liking your page. When someone likes your page, all of that person’s friends get notified that the person liked your Facebook Page. As a result, more people are visiting and liking your Facebook Page. Then, people decide to like your posts, and your content spreads across the most popular social network on the web.

Having a Facebook Page is important towards growth because it gets promoted more often than a personal account and it makes you look more professional on Facebook.
