Inputs And Outputs

October 29, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

The more we put into something, the more we are going to get out of it. The more time we put in our businesses, the more results we are going to see. 30 extra minutes can make a dramatic difference for any business. Extra hours will give you an even better output.
We all want that big output. We all want to get the results we want to see. The problem is that while looking at the output, we forget about the input. Without good  inputs, we can’t get good outputs. The input leads to the output, but not everyone wants to look at it that way.
30 extra minutes has made the difference between 20 followers every day and 100 followers every day. Those 30 extra minutes are eventually going to lead to almost 30,000 extra followers every year. Now the output looks really big, but it’s only because the amount of input got higher. With those extra 30 minutes, I created a bigger output. What can you do with those extra 30 minutes every day?
30 extra minutes every day is going to change your business because it increases your input. The more you increase the input, the more you are going to increase your output. You’re business is ready to evolve and reach all of those dream outputs. All you have to do is give your business a high amount of input.

Take Notes

October 29, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

I wrote notes in my notebook awhile ago. It was an experiment that I started up in the summer, forgot about, and am now going back to. The previous blog post was inspired by a note that I had taken months ago.

By taking notes, you will be able to retain more knowledge. You will remember what you want to remember, and you will be able to look back at something motivational, memorable, or thought-provoking. I am a big believer of writing in a notebook not just for school, but also for your business.

If you have a notebook, it’s time to take notes. One of your notes can turn into your next blog post, source of motivation, or bestselling product.

When Entrepreneurs Settle

October 28, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

The quest to becoming a successful entrepreneur isn’t just about becoming successful. It’s about what happens when an entrepreneur settles in an environment in which they have become a power influencer.

What happens then? Does the entrepreneur continue to innovate or continue what he or she does. Many entrepreneurs only continue to sell the same products they have been selling and using the same methods of increasing blog traffic and getting the same results. Once those results work, you’ve settled in.

However, what are you going to do after you get all of that traffic. Are you going to only continue using the methods that work or continuously experiment with different methods. If people didn’t update Twitter, Facebook, or any of the other social networks, they would quickly become ghost towns. Imagine if the Twitter and Facebook from back in the day weren’t updated. Would you still be using those social networks daily?

Success is something to strive for, but you should ask yourself what you are going to do once you get that success. Are you going to get too comfortable, or are you going to continue to be innovative?

The Risks Of Being A Solopreneur

October 28, 2013 by Marc Guberti 1 Comment

It is possible for an entrepreneur to go solo. Entrepreneurs can succeed without any help. However, it is going to be a lot easier to be successful if you don’t become a solopreneur. With a team, you can come up with new ideas. Twitter was formed by a group of people working together. Facebook was formed by a group of people working together. Plenty of other companies were formed by a group of people working together as well.

It’s better to have a team to help you. With a team, there are more people with more expertise. You don’t have to know lines of code. One of the people on your team can be a coding expert.

There are going to be people who know methods of improving your business or how to do things related to your business that you don’t know. No one has all of the knowledge there is to be offered. The only way to know about what you don’t know is to have a team.

If you’re a solopreneur, chances are you are doing countless hours of work for your business. Instead of working on your business for countless hours, you can create a team so you will have more time to do different things. Having a business is important, but being able to take a break from your business is important as well.

Solopreneurs face the risk of not being able to manage their businesses or do what they do as effectively as they could. If you want to systematize your business and be more effective, then you need to have a team.

Artistic Persuasion

October 27, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Concetto spaziale, attese by Lucio Fontana

It’s incredible to see some of the things that people spend their money on. The art industry alone shows shocking numbers. Paintings that had no detail whatsoever are bought for millions of dollars. For these artistic paintings, the description is everything.

The artists were able to come up with really good descriptions in the perfect market for them in order to get millions of dollars from their paintings. Concetto spaziale, Attese, by Lucio Fontana is the one with the red background with five black dashes. How much would you buy that painting for?

It was sold for $1.5 million. The description for the painting must have been really good. The Concetto spaziale, Attese is not the only example.

Green White was sold for $1.6 million.

Untitled was sold for $28 million.

Cowboy was sold for $1.7 million.

Blue Fool was sold for $5 million.

These paintings were sold for these prices because the descriptions were very good. The descriptions encouraged people to spend millions of dollars on paintings that you and I could probably draw. Without the descriptions, the paintings wouldn’t have been sold.

I’m not encouraging anyone to over price themselves to this scale, but it is important to have a good description in order for your product to sell.

Thinking Isn’t Doing

October 27, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

You can think of a goal. You can think of that product. You can think of your blog getting more visitors than ever before. You can think of having hundreds of thousands of followers.

You can think of all of those things, but those thoughts aren’t going to be useful if they aren’t implemented. No matter how long you think about something, it doesn’t happen until you take action. You can think of the next novel, but if you keep on thinking about it, you won’t write it.

Too many people are thinking without reacting and taking action. There are good reasons to think. You can prioritize what is important, what you need to get done, and how you want to get it done. However, by thinking too much, you won’t be able to accomplish what you were thinking of accomplishing in the first place.

Think frequently, but take action as well.
