How To Find Top-Notch Twitter Followers

October 14, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

We’ve established the difference between a real follower and a fake follower. The real follower actually tweets and can engage in a conversation with you. The fake follower is just a statistic to give people the false impression that you’re popular.

Now it’s time to establish the difference between a real follower and a top-notch follower. The real followers are the ones who actually tweet and can engage in a conversation with you. Since there are plenty of real followers, plenty of your followers are going to have different interests. A blogger on Twitter isn’t going to get the attention of a follower who is only interested in fashion.

This is where the top-notch followers come into play. The top-notch followers are the cream of the crop. If you tweet about blogging, these followers are bloggers, they enjoy reading blog posts, and they have their own blog that they update regularly. The top-notch followers have a lot in common with you. They’re the top-notch followers because they are more likely to click on your links and share your content.

The best way to get the top-notch Twitter followers is with Twellow. Twellow breaks down Twitter users into plenty of different categories and subcategories. Twellow has its own category for blogging, plenty of subcategories for sports, plenty of subcategories for marketing, and so on. If you talk about sports, follow the people who talk about sports who are most likely to follow you back. Once the person follows you back, you got a top-notch follower.

Having followers is good, but it’s more important to have followers who know who you are.

Escaping The Workload

Will only result in a pile of work for you to do in the long run. If you escape the work, you won’t get the results you are looking for. Then you’ll have to do more work to get back to where you started while achieving the results you want to achieve.

If you find less time finding ways to escape the work and more time doing the work, you will be able to get more accomplished. When you get more accomplished, you will be able to implement incredible ideas.

Cheated Out Of Growth

October 13, 2013 by Marc Guberti 8 Comments

When the caterpillar develops into a butterfly, it needs to break out of its cocoon. If you saw a butterfly struggling to get out of it’s cocoon, what would you do? Would you get some scissors to cut a big hole in the cocoon so the butterfly could get out faster?

The struggle is an important process for the butterfly because this struggle pushes the fluid out of its body and into its wings. Then, the butterfly emerges out of the cocoon and is eventually able to fly.

Let’s say you got the scissors and made a big hole in the cocoon. The butterfly would have come out with a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The problem is without the struggle of getting out of the cocoon, the butterfly’s wings won’t grow in size. A butterfly who doesn’t have to go through the struggle of breaking out of the cocoon never gets to fly. The swollen body won’t go away either.

There are going to be struggles that we all must undertake. However, each struggle will be ended when we emerge victorious out of our cocoons. However, if you’re relying on someone else to cut out a portion of your cocoon so you can get out quicker, you are preventing yourself from growing.

What’s Presented And What’s Good

October 12, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

100,000 followers may seem like a lot. If they’re fake, that’s not good. Even if all 100,000 followers are real, if they don’t share your content, subscribe to your blog, know who you are, or buy one of your products, that’s not good.

Virality shows up every once in a while. YouTube videos get millions of views. That Hump Day video from Geico is hilarious. Then, there’s the, “15 minutes could save you 15% or more on car insurance.” That’s good because Geico gets its message out, and people will continue to say, “It’s Humpppp Dayyyy!” The next question would be how many people actually buy Geico insurance just by listening to that commercial.

500 followers may not seem like a lot, but if 100 of those followers bought one of your products, that’s really good.

If the presentation looks good, that doesn’t always mean the quality is there. A first time speaker with an incredible Keynote proves my point. The Keynote is the presentation, but the first time speaker isn’t going to be as influential as the guy or gal who has been speaking for years.

Before you determine whether or not the presentation looks good, or if an idea fits your business, do the homework to find out if that idea is a good fit for your business.

There’s Never A Good Time To Panic

October 12, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

By panicking, we get less done. We worry more. We lose sight of the present and focus on the future. By panicking, ideas get lost or modified in a way that prevents the idea from manifesting greatness.

Some experts say if you aren’t doing A, B, or C, now would be a good time to panic. However, instead of panicking, do the work that will prevent you from panicking.

Don’t stop what you are doing so you can panic. Stop panicking so you can continue with what you are doing.

The Power Of Choice

October 11, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

If you were either forced to read a book, or if you got to choose which book you got to read, which option would be better? Which book would you read?

If you were either forced to use WordPress, or if you got to choose between WordPress and Blogger, which scenario would make you happier? If you ask me which one you should use, I’d say WordPress.

If you were either assigned an essay based on an assigned theme, or you could choose the theme, which essay would you rather want to write?

If you were either forced to use Business Method A, or if you got to choose among many business methods, which would make you feel more happy about working on your business?

We don’t always get to make our own choices. However, it is important to grasp every opportunity you get to make your own choices. The only way to control who you are and who you become is by making choices for yourself. You won’t always have the power to do this, but you can make as many choices as you want on your own.
