How I Did With My Easter Break Goals

April 5, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

How I Did With My Easter Break Goals

There are only a few days left for Easter Break. I was able to accomplish many of my goals, forget about others, and make new ones. Here are the results:

  • I am predicted to have over 3,500 Twitter followers by the end of Easter Break.
  • I won’t be getting those extra 1,000 YouTube views, but I did get an extra 100 views.
  • I have only created 1 video. I won’t create 20, but I plan to get to 10 before the end of Easter Break.
  • I got a lot of Squidoo lenses out of Tier 4.
  • I added more pages to this blog.
  • I finished the updates for another blog.
  • I added RSS Feeds to more of my Squidoo lenses.
  • I have more lenses close to Tier 1 and 2.
  • I am close to having my own iPhone/Android App.
  • I am close to publishing eBooks on the Kindle.

There is still time for me to complete goals that I did not complete or work on new ones. There is no limit to how many goals you set yourself, and whether you complete them all or not, your business benefits.

More Pages And New Layout

March 30, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

There are more pages on this blog which have provided more content. However, more is not always better. For my blog, I believe that these extra pages will be better, but it is important not to overcrowd your blog with too many pages. This will result in the blog looking too organized, and your pages will be on top of each other. This will result in posts being hidden from view. It is good to add more pages to your blogs, but be sure not to add too many or leave some of them on the sidebar.

There is also a new layout for the blog which is the picoclean theme. It is a good upgrade from the other theme which allows for a menu on the top and more options for the sidebar. The title also appears bigger than it was in the previous theme.

This blog gets updated so it is a better experience for everyone.

Keeping Visitors

March 14, 2013 by Marc Guberti 1 Comment

When your blog is doing really good and gets hundreds of visitors a day, that is not the time to get lazy with your work and keep on expecting to get hundreds of visitors to your blog every day. Your visitors will eventually catch on with the fact that you do not update you content. When they catch on to this, they will seek other sources of information. If you update your blog everyday when it has close to 0 visitors a day, then it is too late and you might as well start over. Keep on updating your content to keep your visitors and make sure that more visitors come as well. If I didn’t update this blog for a week (or even a month, but that will never happen), I would lose a lot of visitors because people who visit other people’s blogs want to see quality content, not a blog that had its last archived post in 2012.
