January 1, 2014 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

The New Year offers us all a clean slate. We get to start over again and write down a new list of goals. The past is just the past. The New Year quickly gave us a clean slate, but most people end up with an unclean slate before February ends. Most people give up on their New Year’s resolutions.

In order to stay strong with your New Year’s resolutions, you need a vision, the right mindset, purpose, and these kick starting ideas. The New Year offers us a sense of hope. This sense of hope is the motivation that will allow you to accomplish your goals.

In order to accomplish your goals throughout the year, you need to hold onto the hope and motivation you get in the New Year. The hope and motivation need to be carried from January to December. This is a great opportunity to transform your business and yourself. Anything you put your mind to can be accomplished in the New Year.

Happy New Year everyone!

Establish Your Purpose

December 31, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

We keep ourselves occupied with work, goals, and procrastinators. When it comes to being productive and working on goals, some days can be tough. In order to stay productive, you need to stay motivated. By establishing your purpose, you will give yourself the long-lasting motivation you need to accomplish your goals.

Start by asking yourself why. Why are you doing what you are doing? Why are you trying to accomplish the goals you want to accomplish? By answering these questions, you will be able to remind yourself what your purpose is.

The more you remind yourself of your purpose, the more motivated you will be to accomplish your goals. On New Year’s Eve, it is important to remind yourself of your purpose as you write your New Year’s resolutions. It is also important to remember your purpose after New Year’s Eve, in the New Year, and every day as well.

The Mindset Affects Productivity More Than Anything Else

December 31, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Technology has dramatically improved how we conduct our daily lives. We can communicate to each other through social networks, write and reach a big audience, and go from unknown to well-known.

There are also a lot of productivity apps on smartphones, and there are a lot of blog posts about productivity as well. However, people are still unproductive and don’t manage their time properly. Even with all of the technology making our lives simpler, productivity goes astray.

There are some people who are very productive with technology, but there are other people who do not use technology productively. Technology has little impact on a person’s productivity. Instead, it is the mindset that plays a big role in how productive an individual is.

Felipe Guamán Poma de Avala was able to write a 1,200 page letter to a Spanish king centuries before America claimed its independence. Writing a 1,200 page letter would be a challenging task for anyone to this day. However, Poma was able to write the 1,200 page letter without the advanced technology we have today. There was no copy and paste option for Poma, there was no Google, and there was no computer.

Our technology can be as advanced as possible, but the technology does not affect our productivity. Our mindsets and ability to implement the technology we have properly will allow us to stay productive. We do not need advanced technologies. We just need to have the mindset that will allow us to properly utilize what we have.

Why Being Consistent Is Essential

December 29, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Consistency

Being consistent is crucial towards success. By being consistent, people will be able to expect something at a certain time or similar results. There are a lot of benefits towards being consistent.

For starters, writing blog posts on a consistent basis will result in more traffic and more visibility from the search engines. If you always blog every day or every week at the same time, people will know when to look at your blog for a new post.

Consistency also help out a lot with social media. If you consistently tweet a lot on a consistent basis, more people will be able to see your tweets. If you are pinning on a daily basis, people will notice. You will see your repins and retweets increase.

When you come up with your New Year’s resolutions or a giant list of goals, remember that consistency is essential. Over 80% of people give up on their New Year’s resolutions in February because they realize these resolutions have to be carried out from January to December.

By being consistent, people will pay attention to what you have to say. When people pay attention to you in the masses, you will grow a big following that will constantly grow as the days go by.

Showing up isn’t half the battle. Showing up consistently is half the battle.

Why You Need To Have A Reward System

December 28, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

We all get assigned or have to do a lot of work. On some days, the work is easy. On other days, the work can take hours. In order to consistently perform in a successful way, you need to stay motivated. Having a vision is important towards staying motivated. However, you also need to reward yourself every once in a while.

Some people focus on the work and forget about the reward. You need feel rewarded in order to stay motivated, and the best way to feel rewarded is by taking a break by doing soemthing you enjoy. You may enjoy running outside, watching your favorite TV show, or talking with friends on social media. Whether you enjoy any of these things or you enjoy to do other things, you need to reward yourself by taking a break.

After you give yourself the reward, you will be able to work with a clear mind. You will feel better about yourself because you rewarded yourelf. Rewarding yourself has the power to dramatically increase self-confidence.

Give yourself the break that you deserve. You will be better off with that break, and when you resume your work, you will feel empowered to achieve further greatness.

Stay Motivated With A Vision

December 16, 2013 by Marc Guberti 2 Comments

There are going to be some very difficult days. Everyone has them, and at one point, everyone considers quitting. Many successful entrepreneurs thought of quitting at one point. The reason why people think of quitting is because they don’t have the motivation. The way to tap into your streams of motivation is by creating a vision for yourself.

Where do you imagine yourself down the road? I’m not talking about weeks or months. I’m talking about 3-5 years down the road. Where do you see yourself? Do you see yourself as a bestselling author, an online trainer, or something else? Give yourself that vision.

Thinking about the vision won’t do you any good. Write your vision on a piece of paper and hang it up in your office. Make sure you see what you wrote for your vision every day. Thinking about the success that greets you on the other side will motivate you to do more work. As you do more work, you will get closer to turning your vision into a reality.

Not only should you create your vision. You should tell all of your friends about your vision. When you tell the people who are close to you, you will make yourself committed towards turning the vision into a reality.

When commitment and motivation meld into one, the burst of productivity will come and never go. Your vision will become real. Then, you’ll have to create another vision for yourself.
