How To Get Found By People With Guest Blogs

January 24, 2014 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Finding guest blogs can be a gruesome process. There are a lot of factors that go into finding the perfect guest blog such as the traffic, approval rate, and several other factors as well. First you have to find those guest blogs, and then you have to go through all of those factors. However, what if all of the people with guest blogs found you.

It should work like that. However, that is not the case for many people. In the beginning, everyone who pursues guest blogging needs to find guest blogging opportunities. I had to do a lot of searching before I finally found the Business2Community blog where I have been writing guest posts ever since.

The approach that saves a lot of time is for the guest blogging opportunities to find you. In order to get the opportunities to find you, you need to establish yourself as an expert of your niche. You need to show off your knowledge in your blog posts and follow people on your social networks who would be your target audience. Some of these followers will eventually read your blog and have a guest blog. These people will like the content on your blog and ask you if you can submit a guest post.

This is the method that I use in order to get more guest posting opportunities. I no longer need to spend as much time looking for guest blogging opportunities as I have to spend writing guest posts. As more people see your content on different parts of the web, their trust for you will grow.

How To Create A Powerful KeyNote Presentation

January 23, 2014 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

There are several reasons why people create KeyNote presentations. Some people create KeyNote presentations for school projects. Other people create them for fun. There are also those experts that create KeyNote presentations so they can present them to the public. By creating a powerful KeyNote presentation, you will be able to captivate the audience.

In order to create a KeyNote presentation that captivates the audience, you need to have pictures on multiple slides. A picture is worth a thousand words, and the pictures will grab everyone’s attention. By adding special effects to your KeyNote presentations (but not going overboard), you will be able to grab more of your audience’s attention.

After you grab the audience’s attention, your KeyNote needs to be something that your audience will want to pay attention to. If your audience is people who want to learn more about Twitter, a KeyNote presentation on Twitter will be something your audience will want to pay attention to.

In your KeyNote, you need to provide essential information that your audience will be able to retain and implement. In a Twitter presentation, the essentials would be how to get more retweets, how to get more followers, how to get more engagement, and so on. These are the basics, and as your presentation progresses, introduce some of the advanced information you know about your topic of choice.

If you are presenting your KeyNote to an audience in public, have a Q&A page where people in the audience get to ask you questions. The Q&A acts as a mini break that allows people to engage in conversation with each other and you. Giving your audience good answers will further establish yourself as an expert of your niche.

Whether you are a public speaker, or you are going for an A in your class, creating powerful KeyNote presentations is a skill with many benefits. In order to create compelling KeyNotes that captivate your audience, you need to make sure these aspects are in your KeyNotes.

5 Powerful Factors That Go Into Getting More Conversations With Your Followers On Twitter

January 23, 2014 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Having conversations on Twitter will allow you to build connections with your followers. However, the process of having conversations with your followers is a challenging process. There are a lot of factors that go into how many conversations you have with your followers. These are the 5 powerful factors that play a role into determining how many conversations you have on Twitter.

  1. Are your followers your target audience? I would rather have 10,000 targeted followers than have 100,000 un-targeted followers. Targeted followers are the ones who enjoy the type of content that you tweet about. When you tweet a good blog post, people will reply to that tweet.
  2. How quickly you respond. If someone mentions you or replies to one of your tweets, the length of the conversation depends on how quickly you respond. If you respond seconds later (although that rarely happens for any of us), the conversation will keep on going. If you respond within a day, you will still be able to keep the conversation going. The conversation is less likely to continue if you don’t respond to the tweet for days.
  3. How actively you are talking to your followers. When people go down your timeline, and they see that you are actively talking with your followers, some of those people will decide to mention you and start a conversation. When they start the conversation, respond as soon as possible.
  4. How big your audience is. The bigger your audience, the more conversations you are going to have. These are some ways to make that audience larger.
  5. How many conversations you have with people who are not following you yet. When you have a conversation with someone who is not following you yet, and the conversation progresses, that person will probably follow you. When that person follows you, you can rest assured that you will have more conversations with that person.

Having long conversations on Twitter does not have to be a challenge. By utilizing these 5 powerful factors well, you will have more conversations with your followers that last and eventually turn them into loyal customers.

How To Find The Motivation To Continue Something

January 22, 2014 by Marc Guberti 6 Comments

When we give ourselves goals to strive for, we feel the excitement. We feel empowered and ready to accomplish our goals. However, that feeling of empowerment does not last forever. In order to keep that good feeling of empowerment, you need to stay motivated as you work on your goal. This blog post will be about keeping that motivation so you can accomplish your current goals, and the other goals you give yourself later on.

The secret ingredient to motivation is the mindset. However, the secret ingredient can either be the winning formula or the poison that diminishes motivation. This do or die secret ingredient is the mindset. In order to be motivated, you need to have a powerful mindset.

Along with the powerful mindset comes the vision. Where do you see yourself. What are the things that you imagine yourself accomplishing. Keep on thinking about those good things throughout your journey whether you are currently working on your goal or taking a 30 minute break.

Another great way to keep the motivation you have acquired is by reading inspirational quotes. I tweet inspirational quotes every day at 3 am, 9 am, 3 pm, and 9 pm Eastern Time. You can download an app on your phone with a bunch of inspirational quotes or search the internet for them. When you find a really good inspirational quote, write it in your notebook and keep a collection of them.

Remembering where you started will allow you to see how much you have already accomplished. This will allow you to plan and wonder what else you can accomplish. By remembering the accomplishments, you will realize all of the great things you have already done. When people lose motivation, they usually forget about all of their other accomplishments. By remembering your accomplishments, you will be able to keep that motivation stirring!

There are numerous ways to remain motivated. I will definitely be writing a series of blog posts about keeping motivation. There is definitely going to be a Part 2, but there could also be a Part 3 and other parts as well. Use these tactics in order to stay motivated so you can get your goals accomplished.

If you use any other tactics to stay motivated, please share them below.

Twitter Case Study: When I Decided To Tweet Every 30 Minutes

January 22, 2014 by Marc Guberti 15 Comments

twitter conversation

Twitter is the big reason why a lot of people know about me. I tweet every hour so people see me frequently. When people see me frequently, this builds trust. Twitter ensured 125 daily visitors to my blog, and this only happened when I decided to tweet 1 hour every day.

The need for exponential growth is critical towards success. In order to increase my exponential growth, I decided to tweet every 30 minutes. I tested this out one day, and I was very pleased with the results. On the first day I tweeted every 30 minutes, I got over 200 visitors which is more than a 25% increase in traffic from Twitter. After making the change, my blog was consistently getting 200+ visitors from Twitter every day. As my following on Twitter grows, that statistic continues to go up.

Scheduling that many tweets requires twice as much time. That’s 48 tweets a day! My approach to saving time is to create a document and have a list of all of the timeless content that you want to tweet. This strategy constantly gives you 48 articles to tweet about. By finding new articles to tweet about, you will have a greater variety of tweets.

Does tweeting a lot annoy your followers? I am sure there are people who think that tweeting every 30 minutes will annoy their followers. However, that is not the case. The average user is on Twitter for 20 minutes. That means most of your followers will only see one of your tweets each time they go on Twitter.

Tweeting every 30 minutes has dramatically increased my blog traffic, retweets, and clicks (which have doubled). Tweeting every 30 minutes does require a lot of work, but the extra work does have its benefits.

5 Ways To Double Your Blog’s Traffic

January 21, 2014 by Marc Guberti 2 Comments

The one thing on every blogger’s mind is getting more traffic that will lead to more sales, subscribers, and visibility. Doubling traffic is the dream of many bloggers. Whether that means going from 10 daily visitors to 20 daily visitors or going from 500 daily visitors to 1,000 daily visitors, bloggers want to double their traffic. In this blog post, I will show you five different ways to double your traffic. That means you will be able to get 10 times more traffic than now by implementing these tactics. I decided to add links to some of my older blog posts in order to provide more information about certain topics.

  1. Use Twitter to promote your blog. When you use Twitter to promote your blog, you need to grow a targeted following and consistently tweet frequently. Be sure to start and respond to conversations. Conversations on Twitter have the potential to lead to friendships and powerful connections. I tweet as frequently as I can throughout the day so more people see my blog. Tweeting a link to your blog at 3 pm does no good if most of your followers happen to use Twitter at 6 pm.
  2. Improve your blog’s SEO. By improving your blog’s SEO, people will have an easier time finding your blog on Google’s search engines. These are some tactics that will help you improve your blog’s SEO, but one of the easiest ones to implement is bounce rate. All you have to do is have links to your older blog posts in your new blog posts in order to get a lower bounce rate. After improving my blog’s SEO, my visitors stuck around because of my blog’s low bounce rate, and I saw an immediate increase in search engine traffic.
  3. Use Pinterest to promote your blog too. When you use Pinterest to promote your blog, you need to include pictures on your blog. Adding pictures helped me get a lot of traffic, and adding a “Pin It” button at the bottom of my blog posts increased the amount of times people shared my blog posts. A great way to get more Pinterest followers is by following others with this strategy in mind. As your boards get more pins, it will be okay to pin the same blog post multiple times because people are not likely to scroll all the way down. By consistently pinning old and new blog posts, your blog will be able to get more traffic.
  4. Guest blog on other people’s blogs. Guest blogging puts your content in front of a larger audience. That means more people will tweet your blog posts, share them on Facebook, pin them, and use all of the other social networks to tell more people about you. While it is important to start guest blogging as soon as possible, it is also important to identify the best guest blogging opportunity for you. Although people do not always come directly to your blog from the guest post, they will see your name more often. As people see you more frequently, they will have more trust in you. With that trust, they will look at your blog posts, subscribe to your blog, and buy your products.
  5. Get more people to write about you. These are the methods I use to get more people to write about me. By getting more people to write about you, more people will notice you. Having a remarkable story always helps out when it comes to getting more people to write about you.

Those are the 5 tactics I used to double my blog traffic. By implementing all five of these tactics, my blog went from 40 daily views to over 400 daily views in a few months. All of these tactics take time in order to see the results. However, after a few months, you will be able to see the big increase in traffic that all bloggers dream of.
