Did You Notice This New, Colossal Twitter Update?

November 6, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Twitter came out with a new update last week, and it’s not big. It’s colossal. You may have seen it on your timeline. You may have used it yourself. Whether you’ve heard of it or not, it’s colossal.

The days of clicking pic.twitter.com to see pictures are over. Any picture posted on Twitter becomes part of the tweet. This will allow more people to see your pictures faster. Some people don’t have the patience to constantly click the pic.twitter.com link. However, this new update allows the patient and the impatient to see your pictures.

This update provides convenience because it removes a step for your followers. That means more retweets, more favorited tweets, and more followers.

This update is also colossal for the people who pay for promoted tweets. Tweets with pictures now take up more space on the timeline. A picture will allow an advertiser to get more space on someone’s timeline. This will result in more people looking at the tweet and a better ROI for the advertiser.

Pictures are now a lot easier to view. The next update may make it easier to view videos. Whether Twitter has more updates like this or not, Twitter is taking steps towards convenience which are going to help all of us big time.

Implement Your Plans

November 5, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Everyone says that planning is good for your business, but these people don’t look at all of the consequences. In this do or die game, people focus on the ability to give themselves the compass to their future.

This game is similar to a two-floor building without any stairs. You can’t get to the second floor without the stairs. Giving yourself a good plan will allow you to create the stairs. The stronger your plan, the more stairs you get. Soon, you get enough stairs to go from the first floor to the second floor. When people look at the consequences of planning, they only look at the good ones.

There is some danger to planning. You can create the perfect compass that goes from the Indian Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean by using all of the fastest routes (that kind of compass probably has some GPS features installed as well). Even if you come up with the perfect compass, you still need to sail from the Indian Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean in order for it to come in handy. If the function of the compass isn’t used, all of the planning, time, and effort would have gone to waste.

Planning is essential towards the success for any business, but you must be implementing your plans in order to get the results you are looking for.

There Are Two Ways To Look At Dominos

November 5, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

The first way we look at dominos is common. Dominos end up falling. Whether you push the domino down or a domino pushes another domino, they end up falling. It’s one way to look at dominos, but there is another way to view dominos.

Dominos can be working together to bring forth a greater strength that allows them to push a stronger object. You won’t be able to move a tennis ball with a single domino. However, if hundreds of dominos push on each other, the last domino will be able to push the tennis ball with a greater amount of force. Strength in numbers will allow the tennis ball to move farther.

It’s more important to view the dominos as a team than as individuals in order to appreciate what they can do.

Finding The Needle In The Hay Stack

November 4, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

This phrase is used to emphasize how difficult it is to find something. However, searching for the needle is well worth the wait. It may take months or even years before you find the needle in the hay stack. There are going to be some times when you won’t want to search for the needle in the hay stack anymore. However, finding the needle is what makes the adventure great.

It’s easy to find ideas. Most ideas are like the hay: common, boring, and used up. When you find the needle in the hay, you are going to come up with extraordinary ideas. Sometimes, when you find a needle in the hay stack, you’ll encounter another needle as well. The unique ideas start to build up, and as you implement them, you’ll be able to reap the benefits.

We know that the needle is in the hay stack. However, we have to find it in order to see what it looks like and the results it can bring forth.

Why Bloggers Give Up Traffic Graph

Blogging can get rough at times. After constantly writing blog post after blog post, the same number of visitors come (or at times, less visitors come). However, there is a gold mine waiting to be discovered. That gold mine is your blog. Don’t take your eye off the prize, and do the consistent work that will allow you to receive that prize.

Forever Enhancing

November 3, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

The entrepreneurs who are made to stick around don’t have peaks or maximum turning points. They don’t finish something, say it’s good enough, and stop enhancing it. The entrepreneurs who are made to stick around are constantly enhancing their products, visibility, abilities, and anything else they can enhance.

Getting 50 visitors a day isn’t enough for entrepreneurs made to stick. They do everything in their power to have 100 visitors every day. Once they make it to 100 visitors every day, it’s no longer good enough. 100 visitors a day becomes 150 visitors every day, and it continues to grow.

It’s important to be happy and grateful for what you have accomplished so far. However, you shouldn’t be satisfied with what you have accomplished. What you have accomplished now isn’t an end-game. There are more things for you to accomplish, and accomplishing them involves work on your part.

Keep on growing your business. When you’ve grown your business the way you’ve wanted to, find ways to enhance your business. Even the multibillion dollar businesses are finding ways to enhance themselves. Apple still comes out with new products. WalMart is still offering big sales. Twitter decided to go for IPO even though it’s already doing just fine.

There is no limit to how much you can achieve or how much your business can grow. By enhancing your business, you will be able to watch it grow like never before. The first “like never before” is going to be replaced again and again. Don’t stop. Keep on going.
