How To Become The Best Of Your Niche

December 4, 2013 by Marc Guberti 10 Comments

I'm happy to see you around. You may want to subscribe to my blog. Thanks for visiting!

Welcome back! I am so happy to see that you have come back for more.

There are a lot of things that would be helpful towards making you the best of your niche. Being a power user on a social network would be helpful. Having one of the most popular blogs would be helpful. Being mentioned in the New York Times would also be very helpful.

Although these things are helpful, you don’t need them to become the best of your niche. In order to be the best of your niche, you need to do something so different from the competition that it’s remarkable. Some people are remarkable for low prices, high prices, or quality. Find some way to be remarkable.

After you have identified the way you are remarkable, be sure to have a quick and effective support team. Whether your support team has some people, a lot of people, or just you, your support team needs to respond to any of your follower’s/client’s questions as soon as possible. I always respond to people’s questions within a day at most. A quick response will make your followers/clients know that you are reliable. As more people see you as a reliable person of your niche, your will gradually make your way to the #1 spot.

Being remarkable is essential towards becoming #1. All of the #1 guys are remarkable in their own way. Apple is #1 because of their quality products and how Steve Jobs was able to go from getting fired to becoming the CEO again. A remarkable story combined with remarkable products equals remarkable results. Apple is now a multibillion dollar business that is worth more than Greece and Poland. These are more things that Apple is worth more than.

Be remarkable, have a remarkable story, and respond to anyone who asks you a question within a day. This will allow you to establish yourself as an expert of your niche. All of the #1 guys are experts of their niche, and as people see you as a reliable expert, you will be able to dethrone the #1 guy.

Find And Copy The Patterns That Work

December 4, 2013 by Marc Guberti 1 Comment

That’s exactly what I did when I marketed my Twitter Domination Training Course. For those of you who haven’t done so already, there are only a few days left to use the coupon MG BLOG FREE in order to get free access to the Twitter Domination Training Course. Coupons like this one led to an explosion of sign ups. I got over 100 sign ups in one day, and it’s all because I followed this pattern (the particular pattern I followed was in Part 3) used by other Udemy trainers.

Many people focus on finding their own gold mine. These people do all of the marketing experiments until they find the one method that works. There are also some gold mines out there that you can stumble in right now. Seth Godin alone has stumbled into enough marketing gold mines that we can implement as well.

People are constantly finding ways to make themselves remarkable and different from the competition. However, it’s okay to do some things similar. There are some things that always work. When you go to the internet and type in google.com, Google always comes up. You aren’t going to type in google.com one day and see Bing insetad of Google. This always works, and there are also some marketing tactics that will always work until they get outdated.

The pattern I followed towards making my Twitter Domination Training Course a success has been implemented by other people before me. Some of the things that I do are unique from the competition. There are other things that I do that competitors have done in the past. These are the patterns that work, and by following the patterns that guarantee success, you are going to become very successful.

Honest Marketing

December 3, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

09.12.2013-post

Monopolies were dominant in the 20th century, but they are no longer as dominant. It’s easier for people to start their own businesses and rise to the top. There are more options which is great for the customer. For the seller, there is now less room for error.

In order to become a successful seller, you need to be honest with your clients. People know (or figure out) when someone is being dishonest to them. Dishonest sellers don’t get second chances in a world where there is a seller that sells similar or identical products.

If you want to stay ahead of the competition, you need to be honest to your clients every step of the way even when the honest choice is to tell your client that another seller offers a better product for their needs.

Turn Your Expertise Into Training Courses With Udemy

December 3, 2013 by Marc Guberti 2 Comments

Training courses allow you to teach people how to perform a specific task with videos. There are plenty of training courses, and many people want to start their own as well. However, when it comes to finding the domain and doing everything else, creating a training course of your own proves to be a challenge.

This is where Udemy comes in. Udemy allows you to create training courses for free, and they give you a template which shows potential buyers a summary of everything they will get. When you make a sale, Udemy gives you a 70% commission. If you sell a training course for $100, you make $70.

The best part about a training course is with the exception of answering questions once in a while (if you give your students that option), you don’t have to do anything else. Once you get the training course up, Udemy helps you out with the marketing. The only thing you have to do is tell people about your training course and get paid.

I just started using Udemy, and I already put up my Twitter Domination Training Course. Using Udemy is easy, convenient, and it is also a big money-maker.

7 Lessons I Learned From Jeff Bezos

December 2, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon, did an interview with 60 Minutes about where Amazon is heading. There were a lot of fascinating things revealed in the interview such as a highly advanced assembly line, all of the constants that Amazon is trying to break, and the drones that will be shipping products to your house in a few years. This 60 Minutes interview was one of the best ones I have seen in a while. Jeff Bezos explained how Amazon has been able to do what is has done, and the future of Amazon as well. Here are the 7 key takeaways from the interview:

  1. Everyone starts from the bottom. Jeff Bezos drove to the post office himself in order to deliver the first product. Amazon used to be an online bookstore, and in the beginning, Jeff dreamed to have enough money to buy a forklift. Now there are forklifts all over Amazon’s buildings.
  2. You need to innovate in order to survive for a longer period of time. Amazon has brought forth a lot of change. They have already changed how books are sold. However, Amazon will also be changing how movies get produced and how we buy our groceries. Amazon already delivers groceries to customers in Seattle and LA. Without innovation, companies get toppled faster.
  3. Have a vision. Drones won’t be coming anytime soon, but within 5 years, Jeff Bezos plans to have drones bringing all products under 5 pounds directly to customers. Just to give you an idea of how much time this would save, 83% of Amazon products weigh less than 5 pounds.
  4. Be organized. Amazon’s assembly lines are incredible. All of the products get organized based on zip codes which makes distributing them very easy.
  5. Keep on growing. Amazon has millions of customers, but even with all of these customers, Amazon keeps on growing. Amazon is using some of the money to build more warehouses which will allow them to ship products to their customers faster. One warehouse is being built in New Jersey for those of you nearby.
  6. Know what the customers want. Jeff Bezos knows that his customers want affordable prices and quick delivery. That’s why he is using the money from Amazon to build warehouses and make drones. That’s why the prices of Amazon’s Kindles are intentionally lowered to prevent a profit. Kindles only make a profit when users buy paid apps on their Kindles.
  7. Show some humor. Jeff Bezos showed a lot of humor during the interview. His humor made the interview engaging.

Giving Up Is An Option (But That Doesn’t Make It The Right Option)

December 2, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

The sad truth is that giving up is always an option (but not all options are meant to be followed properly).

The workload gets too tough (although no one can escape work).

Doing all of the research will take forever (although you’ll learn a lot in the end).

The product might not even be successful (but what if it would have been and you stopped halfway).

Getting a sale is going to be a challenge (you’ll be able to rejoice because you made a sale).

The ROI doesn’t add up (When Twitter started, it cost more money to keep Twitter going than the owners were making from the social network).

You can give up (however, there’s also the better option which is to make a difference).
