Scary Words

August 24, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Fear, quit, fail, collapse, and unsaleable (I made that one up) are some of the scary words out there.

They are just words. Remember that. You decide whether you live by these words or just know what the words mean.

Fear doesn’t exist. It’s an illusion that we create. Fear is the greatest enemy of success, especially the fear of failure.

Failure isn’t something to fear. People who fail and don’t quit are destined to succeed eventually.

We are held back by those words. Free yourself from the shackles of your mind and explore your true potential. Everyone is destined for greatness. You just have to take steps towards that greatness.

Why More Teenagers Will Have Their Own Businesses Soon

August 24, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

The movement is coming. I am proof of that movement. In the upcoming years, more teenagers will have their business than ever before. Some teenagers who have businesses are already making it big.

Teenagers spend a lot of time on social media. In fact, they spend 7 hours a day consuming media. What if that media were productive for a business? Teenagers spend a lot of time on Twitter, Facebook, and all of the other social networks.

Teenagers are writing update after update on social networks. What if writing those updates can turn into something bigger, such as a blog post. Before I blogged every day, I used social media every day (I still do). I sent update after update, and today, I send blog post after blog post.

Blog post after blog post turned into book after book. I currently have 4 books, a book about blogging to be published in September, a book about 365 ways to improve your business being published in November, and a book called 7 Habits Of Highly Effective Entrepreneurs to be published in February.

I started with updates on my social networks, and here I am today. Many of my friends are asking me how I started my blog. When I told them about my new books, they wanted to know how I sell those books. Teenagers are curious, and there will be more who decide to give their business ideas a try.

When more teenagers give their business ideas a try, it trends. Teenagers jump on the trends. That’s why many teenagers are on Instagram. Instagram was the newest trend when it was launched back in 2010. Now there are millions of people on Instagram, and many of those users are teenagers.

The age of waiting for working papers is over. Many teenagers will be starting their own businesses in the near future.

We Carve Out Our Own Fate

August 23, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Sometimes we may feel as if we have lost total control over our business. Simply put, we believe that fate will decide. Fate will steer our business in the direction it needs to be right now. Fate will save us.

The only way fate will save us is if we take steps to carving out our own fate. If we don’t carve out our own fate, we are not taking charge of our lives. In order to become successful and truly take charge, you need to start carving out your own fate.

There is no lucky horseshoe that some entrepreneurs get where they go from nothing at all to riches, virality (every time), and a bunch of products. The only way to get from Point A to Point B is to carve out your own fate.

Get your stone and chisel so you can carve out your fate. Do everything you need to do that will result in a good fate. A good fate is much better than a bad one.

Things Change

August 22, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

We just have to realize that. Change is something that we resist. Don’t resist the change. Become a part of the change. When everyone else tries to adapt to the change, you will have already adapted to the change. You will have adapted to the change far before your competition.

Things change, and those are the things to take advantage of first.

Good Isn’t Good Enough

August 22, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

How To Make Your Business Remarkable is a good title. It tells you what the book or blog post is going to be about. We know what we’re getting out of the book or blog post. We will learn how to make our businesses remarkable.

It’s a good title, but in today’s world, good isn’t good enough. Good is a standard. However, when a majority of those people are good, there are too many people at that standard. Good got crowded, and not good isn’t enough.

Seth Godin’s book, Purple Cow, is all about making your business remarkable. He could have just as easily named Purple Cow something like How To Make Your Business Remarkable instead.

The other title is the safe zone. The majority of authors choose titles like those. Who would have ever come up with the title Purple Cow though?

Good is only good. Good is no longer something to strive for. Good has simply become average. Set the bar higher, and if you set the bar right, you’ll find turning your business remarkable as a goal.

Guess What It Is

August 21, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Here are the hints:

Something that is everywhere.

Something that we all want.

Something that is abundant.

Something that is wonderful.

Something that a select few can actually see.

Something that isn’t always utilized properly.

Something that can disappear in the blink of an eye.

Something that waits patiently until someone sees it.

Something that we are afraid of when we get it.

What did you guess it was? If you guessed the answer is opportunity you’re right. If you feel like you’ve lost all of the opportunities, you can create a blog, use social networks, try again, and never quit. Then, you’ll be able to finally catch glimpses of opportunity that were waiting to be found. Opportunity doesn’t find you; you find opportunity.
