Younger Entrepreneurs

April 7, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Younger entrepreneurs are open to more advantages. The content written on a website would be more appreciated if a teenager wrote the content than if an adult did. This is because teenagers entrepreneurs are harder to find than adult entrepreneurs, and teenagers also have a lot to do in their daily lives. I have received a lot of lovely comments on some of my Squidoo lenses that say things like how someone is shocked that I am making money online at a young age. Younger entrepreneurs do have an advantage, and it is important to let kids know that they will have this advantage if they start their businesses now. There is no need to wait for the taxes to pile up before you start making money.

Everyone Needs To Take A Break

April 6, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Sometimes, it is absolutely necessary to take a break. It is just as important to not lose track of the time during that break. A break that lasts a half an hour to an hour is a good break, but if you lose track of the time, hours could go by. Then you will be scrambling to get all of your work done before the next day. I do take multiple breaks each day, but I don’t end my day without having all of my work for the next day done.

How I Did With My Easter Break Goals

April 5, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

How I Did With My Easter Break Goals

There are only a few days left for Easter Break. I was able to accomplish many of my goals, forget about others, and make new ones. Here are the results:

  • I am predicted to have over 3,500 Twitter followers by the end of Easter Break.
  • I won’t be getting those extra 1,000 YouTube views, but I did get an extra 100 views.
  • I have only created 1 video. I won’t create 20, but I plan to get to 10 before the end of Easter Break.
  • I got a lot of Squidoo lenses out of Tier 4.
  • I added more pages to this blog.
  • I finished the updates for another blog.
  • I added RSS Feeds to more of my Squidoo lenses.
  • I have more lenses close to Tier 1 and 2.
  • I am close to having my own iPhone/Android App.
  • I am close to publishing eBooks on the Kindle.

There is still time for me to complete goals that I did not complete or work on new ones. There is no limit to how many goals you set yourself, and whether you complete them all or not, your business benefits.

You Never Know What You Have Until It’s Gone

April 4, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

This is very true. Squidoo recently flagged some lenses which they believed didn’t have good enough content to remain on Squidoo. I got my warnings yesterday, and if I don’t fix a lens by the 23rd of April, it gets locked. That’s a bummer, but it got me thinking. Yesterday, I got news that 24 of my lenses were flagged. I took a look at the flagged lenses, questioned some, but understood why a majority of them were flagged. I have worked that number down from 24 lenses to only 8 lenses. I still have about 3 weeks to work on all of the other lenses that were given a heads up. The 16 lenses that I worked on to republish all have more content and hadn’t been updated for months. You never really know what you have until it is gone.

Why Debates Are Good For Business

April 3, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Having debates with other entrepreneurs will allow you to get a new perspective on what works and what doesn’t work. Not everyone will agree with your opinion. Some people will say you are wrong while other people will say you are utterly wrong. These are the people who you should listen to because they will offer some of their advice. This advice can either be turned down or considered for your business. When I am skeptical about something, I take time to listen to whoever is convincing me. After the person tells me their side of the story, I will either reject or accept their idea as a tactic to increase revenue for my business. It is important to have debates with fellow entrepreneurs because you never know what you could learn in the process.

Quick Actions And Timing

April 2, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

If you can perform a quick action in the perfect timing, your business will thrive. Stock investors know this very well. Investing in the right stocks at the right time will lead to a bigger profit. Investing in something too late will result in a smaller profit or no profit at all.

Blogs work the same way. If you find a product that is selling, you keep on talking about that individual product through blog posts. If you find a product that has potential, you can offer a small discount for a limited time. When the price goes back up, more people will buy it since they liked it the first time.

Making eBooks is the same as well. If your eBook is very successful, everyone will want a Part 2. You have to be able to make the eBook quickly if you want to get even more sales on the old and new eBooks alike. Then you have to keep on making them.

How did I get the idea for this post? On one of my track meets, I did the quick action, but I had poor timing. I still had a good time, but it could have been better. Timing is crucial, but the actions that are performed in a specific amount of time are just as crucial.
