Look At The Flaws And The Big Picture

June 20, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Nothing is perfect. The best business is going to have a flaw or two. The best event will have some flaws as well.

Summer is a great time for people to relax, work on their businesses, and control their own schedules. That sounds incredible, but there are some flaws with summer. All of the insects don’t come out. They come in. There are more ants everyday. Figuring out how they get in is just as hard as taking them out of the house.

Google gives us a lot of different products to try. Is Google able to answer all of our questions? The answer is no, but there are many people who are happy with Google. Most people use Google for the search function while some people use Google’s products such as AdSense and Google+.

Summer and Google have their flaws. Sadly, there are a lot of people who only look at the flaws. Instead, we should look at the flaws and the big picture. Summer is a great time to relax and have fun. Summer symbolizes the end of school for 3 months and more vacation time.

Google is the difference between going to the library to look for information on a rainy day or being able to access the information you need on your computer while watching the rain fall. I do not know what it felt like to go to the library everyday to find information for a school project. I don’t want to go through that experience anytime soon, and Google prevents that from happening.

Something may not be working the way you wanted it to. Your guest post to a well-known blog could have been disapproved or you lost a lot of followers on one day. Do look at the flaws, but also look at the big picture.

If you were trying to submit a guest post, it means you had something such as a Twitter account or a blog to promote. If you lost a lot of followers on one day, it means you had a lot of followers, and going from 1,000 followers to 900 followers still means that you have 900 followers.

The big picture is a painting. The flaw is just a yellow dot on the painting. You get to choose how big you make that yellow dot.

Do you look at the flaws, the big picture, or both?

The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly

May 11, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Every business has them. Your business will have a really good day with record breaking sales. Your business will have some bad days along the way where no sales are recorded. There are also the ugly times when there are no sales for consecutive weeks or even consecutive months. It is the response to all of these events that separates the good businesses from the bad businesses.

What You Say About Yourself Impacts Your Performance

May 2, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

If you proclaim what you can do, you will do it, even if you put a negative twist on what you are going to do. I said I would be a successful teenager entrepreneur. I make hundreds of dollars a month and am now publishing eBooks on Kindle. I said it would be hard for me to reach under 5 minutes in the mile at the beginning of the season, and it has been hard ever since (I now think it will be easier for me to achieve this goal). I have rejected some of my ideas and never continued them while I have finished some of the ideas that I was previously working on.

What you say about yourself can be either very motivating or can sink your dreams.

There Will Always Be A Question

May 1, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

It doesn’t matter if you are making a blog post or making a speech, there will always be a question. There can be many questions for different reasons such as how your services work, how to do something, how to get the best deal, or a question about one of your blog posts. People will always have questions, and you will have to answer them correctly each time, especially if you are the one promoting a product or making a speech to hundreds or even thousands of people.

When that person raises his or her hand to ask a question, you have to be able to identify good questions and bad questions. There are a lot of people with very bad questions, and some of those questions won’t even relate to what you just talked about. However, the good questions will be the ones that you spend the most time answering. The more details you give in your answer, the more likely you are to answer someone else’s question. By answering other people’s questions, you allow more people to ask their own questions.

There is no way to answer a question with another website displaying information and an explanation. That content may never change if it’s on a website, and if it never changes, that content won’t be able to answer new questions about a service, how to do something, and so on. The best way to answer questions at this point is to email people directly. No matter how clear you think you performed, there will always be someone with a question.

Rules

April 13, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Sometimes rules are avoid, forced upon others, or you are the one giving out the rules. There are some good rules to follow such as not driving a car at a young age or doing other things too early, but there are some rules that restrict success from others. Rules can be good or bad, but it is up to what the rule is, who is giving out the rule, and the intention of that person. There can be many unintended consequences by giving out too many rules which can limit the growth of a business.

Younger Entrepreneurs

April 7, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Younger entrepreneurs are open to more advantages. The content written on a website would be more appreciated if a teenager wrote the content than if an adult did. This is because teenagers entrepreneurs are harder to find than adult entrepreneurs, and teenagers also have a lot to do in their daily lives. I have received a lot of lovely comments on some of my Squidoo lenses that say things like how someone is shocked that I am making money online at a young age. Younger entrepreneurs do have an advantage, and it is important to let kids know that they will have this advantage if they start their businesses now. There is no need to wait for the taxes to pile up before you start making money.
