5 Blogging Tips You Absolutely Positively Need To Know Immediately

September 6, 2014 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

I'm happy to see you around. You may want to subscribe to my blog. Thanks for visiting!

Welcome back! I am so happy to see that you have come back for more.

Blog

There are many tips about growing a better presence on the web, getting more blog traffic, and growing your email list. Some of these bloggers have optimized these tips to see their blogs grow dramatically while others are learning from the experts. In the midst of common blogging tips that get mentioned time and time again, there are some blogging tips that get forgotten about.

  1. Focus on your bounce rate. A lower bounce rate indicates that more visitors are staying on your blog for a longer period of time. If you get people to stay on your blog for a longer period of time, more of those visitors will become subscribers and paying customers.
  2. Your blog’s loading speed is important. If your blog takes too long to load (which can mean more than 10 seconds), people will become impatient. All websites and blogs are able to load within a few seconds, but there is a difference between the blog that gets loaded in five seconds and the blog that gets loaded in 10 seconds.
  3. Always respond to other people’s comments on your blog. You need to interact with your readers so they have a reason to leave more comments. As your blog posts get more relevant comments, that will indicate more activity and popularity. This activity and popularity will encourage some of your visitors who have not left a comment yet to suddenly leave one.
  4. You need to create categories for your blog posts. Categories make it easier for your visitors to find blog post content based on specific topics. Instead of digging through blog post after blog post for blog posts about Twitter, you can go into the Twitter category for this blog. This allows people to easily find specific content they are looking for.
  5. Your blog must be easy to use. People will stay on your blog longer if it is easy to use. Make sure you have a powerful menu on your blog that is easy to use, and make it easy for people to find valuable blog posts.

Those are the five tips that most people forget about. What were your thoughts on the tips? Do you have any additional blogging tips that you feel many people forget about? Please share your thoughts and advice below.

You Only Know If You Try

September 5, 2014 by Marc Guberti 2 Comments

Keep Calm And Give It A Try

We all have strange pet peeves. For a very long time, I did not like wearing green shirts.  I do not know why, but I just did not like wearing that color. I resented the thoughts of wearing green pants, shorts, or socks. I resented the idea so much that I never even gave it a try.

Then, I went to TJ Maxx because since I still grow, I still have the experience of sizing out of clothing. At the same time, I was starting to really take my YouTube presence seriously and wanted to buy different collared T-shirts so I would look more professional in my YouTube videos. Sure enough, TJ Maxx had low prices, and I do not remember how many collared T-shirts I ended up with, but it was somewhere in between 5-10 collared T-shirts. I’ll go with seven just to be as close to the middle as possible.

Sure enough, one of the collared T-shirts was green. The T-shirt looked nice, but I did not like the color. Since TJ Maxx’s prices are low, and there is a refund policy, it was agreed upon that the green collared T-shirt would be purchased along with the other ones, and if I did not like the collared T-shirt, I could return it.

Then, I tried on the collared T-shirt, and I enjoyed it. Now I have a collared long sleeve shirt that is also green. It is amazing to think I did not like green clothing a few months ago, but now I enjoyed wearing those green shirts.

We are quick to assume that ideas will not work and that certain things were never meant to be. However, some people reach totally different conclusions just by giving it a try instead of assuming how it would work. Just as Sam tried the green eggs and ham in Dr. Seuss’ classic book, I tried the green shirts. Now I like to wear them.

6 Reasons To Start Something

September 4, 2014 by Marc Guberti 4 Comments

Start

There are millions of ideas to choose from, but not all ideas are created equal in terms of their quality and the individual’s willingness to perform the idea. You will come up with many ideas in your lifetime. Some will be incredible while others will not be as good. However, few people are able to identify whether their ideas are good or not. Some people never get to know the truth because they never start while other people start the idea to quickly realize it was a bust. You should know whether you should start or not before you decide to start the idea or trash it. Here are six reasons why you would want to start something:

  1. You are passionate about the idea. This is an idea that you enjoy and think about every night. If you are not passionate about the idea, then there is no point in even starting.
  2. It has potential. Some ideas are clear dead ends, and it is important to avoid these ideas. If you see potential in your idea and believe in that idea, then it is an idea worth pursuing.
  3. You want to start. The only reason you should start an idea is because you want to do so. It is important to start something based on how you feel instead of the opinions of other people around you. In the end, you are implementing the idea, not the people who are telling you what to do.
  4. You are fearful of someone else taking it away from you. This fear will make you admit that your idea is valuable. We only fear losing our most valuable items. Did you lose a toothbrush? Just go to CVS and buy a new, never used toothbrush. It may even be the right move for your hygiene. Losing your smartphone, especially an iPhone, would cause your world to stop. There have been numerous cases when I (and I’m sure I am not the only one) have completely stopped in my tracks because I did not know where my iPhone was and was not sure if I had left it behind at a public place. Luckily, I have never gone through that horrendous experience.
  5. Your idea is a small innovation of a successful idea that worked. In many cases, small innovations work similarly to the ideas they replicate but have an added twist. This aspect is definitely worth looking into because you do not need to create the next world-changing product to come up with a big idea.
  6. Your idea can change the world. If it can change the world, then go for it. However, you need to honestly ask yourself whether this idea can really change the world or not. Do not tell yourself that your idea can change the world just because it is your idea.

If your idea has those reasons behind it, then it is an idea you should start as soon as possible. However, if there are any doubts about your idea, whether that idea is good or not, you are not the right champion to implement that idea. You need to be fully confident in your decision so you remain authentic and turn your ideas into winning products, businesses, and services.

3 Questions That All YouTubers Need To Ask Before Continuing

September 3, 2014 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

YouTube Subscribers

YouTube is a big social network filled with many people. YouTube brings in over 1 billion unique visitors every month, and it continues to grow. Along the way, YouTube has been the main stream of income for some of the people who are crushing it. These people get millions of views for their videos and generate a big profit from Adsense and affiliate links.

As a result of some YouTubers making it big and generating full-time incomes from their videos, many people aspire to become that big. However, it takes millions of views in order to become big on YouTube. Although getting there is a great feeling, it is not easy to get millions of YouTube views. If you want to make it big on YouTube to the point where your videos have been viewed millions of times, you need to ask yourself these three questions.

  1. Are you willing to upload YouTube videos every week?
  2. Are you willing to do this for a few years even if you do not bring in the full-time income right away?
  3. Are you willing to learn more about getting YouTube views?

If you answered yes to all three of those questions, you have the potential to make it big on YouTube. All you need to do is act and know how to get more YouTube views. Which of these three questions had the biggest impact on you? Do you have another question to ask all YouTubers trying to make themselves big? Please share your thoughts below.

Social Media Tips To Get More Product Sales

September 2, 2014 by Marc Guberti 2 Comments

Social Media Funnel

Social media has become the giant hub for communication and connections to build with any group of people living in any locations in the world. People from Florida can easily interact with people in the United Kingdom with a tweet, Facebook post, pin, or some other form of a social media post. Despite how much easier it has become to interact with potential customers all over the world, few people are using social media to get more product sales, and most of those people are not promoting their products on their social networks the right way.

Social media is a bad way to get direct sales, but it is a great way to get indirect sales. You need to use social media to promote a platform that brings in more sales, but never the actual sales page. The easiest way to use social media to bring in more sales is by promoting a blog that promotes your products.

In addition to promoting a platform that will bring in more sales, you need to host giveaways of your own products. Many people use $50 Amazon Gift Card giveaways and similar types of giveaways, but in order to get more sales, the prize needs to be one of your products. That way, the people who did not win your product will have heard about it and be more likely to buy the product, especially if it is an inexpensive one.

Social media is one of the best places to grow an audience that you can interact with, know well to a certain extent, and bring in more sales. However, the only way to make money from social media is by realizing that you do not directly make money from social media. Instead, social media indirectly allows you to make money. What were your thoughts on these tips? Do you have any additional tips on using social media to bring in more product sales? Please share your thoughts and advice below.

5 Reasons Why You Absolutely Positively Need To Take YouTube More Seriously

September 1, 2014 by Marc Guberti 2 Comments

YouTube Logo

Although YouTube is the leading social network in video creation, and it is also the 3rd most popular website on the entire web, few people are taking advantage of this powerful social network. A majority of YouTube users do not use YouTube to build a presence on the web, and some users have not uploaded a single video of their own to YouTube. If you are like one of the many people who has even never tried YouTube or stopped a while ago, you need to start taking YouTube seriously, and here’s why:

  1. YouTube gets over 1 billion unique visitors every month. That’s more than most websites, and that audience is ginormous. There will be millions of people in that audience who will be targeted viewers. Targeted viewers are the ones who would enjoy viewing videos that match the types of videos you upload on YouTube.
  2. Some people have made full-time incomes on YouTube. The Google Adsense Program is at its prime on YouTube. Some people have been able to make millions of dollars from Google Adsense, and it wouldn’t be so bad to become a part of the seven-figure club.
  3. You can promote your other social networks on YouTube. You can promote the social media icons with YouTube’s channel feature, and you can also promote your other social networks in the actual YouTube video. At the end of every YouTube video, tell your viewers where they can find you, and be sure to tell your viewers to subscribe to your channel.
  4. People watch video content for a long time. If you upload valuable YouTube videos, people will watch your YouTube videos for a long period of time. The longer someone watches your YouTube video, the more likely that person is to subscribe to your channel and follow you on your social networks.
  5. People search YouTube to learn about products and services more than any other social network. That means if you are selling or reviewing products, YouTube is the perfect place to go. People want to see what the product actually looks like and hear someone explain the features. For those kinds of desires, people go to YouTube for the answers. You can start reviewing your favorite products or review your own products. It’s entirely up to you.

Those are the five reasons why you need to take YouTube seriously. Are you going to use YouTube more often and start to take it seriously? If so, these articles may be of good help.
