Stay Motivated With A Vision

Welcome back! I am so happy to see that you have come back for more.

There are going to be some very difficult days. Everyone has them, and at one point, everyone considers quitting. Many successful entrepreneurs thought of quitting at one point. The reason why people think of quitting is because they don’t have the motivation. The way to tap into your streams of motivation is by creating a vision for yourself.

Where do you imagine yourself down the road? I’m not talking about weeks or months. I’m talking about 3-5 years down the road. Where do you see yourself? Do you see yourself as a bestselling author, an online trainer, or something else? Give yourself that vision.

Thinking about the vision won’t do you any good. Write your vision on a piece of paper and hang it up in your office. Make sure you see what you wrote for your vision every day. Thinking about the success that greets you on the other side will motivate you to do more work. As you do more work, you will get closer to turning your vision into a reality.

Not only should you create your vision. You should tell all of your friends about your vision. When you tell the people who are close to you, you will make yourself committed towards turning the vision into a reality.

When commitment and motivation meld into one, the burst of productivity will come and never go. Your vision will become real. Then, you’ll have to create another vision for yourself.

4 Ways To Make Money With Your Blog Content

Visitors can read your blog content for free. They can view all of your blog’s archieves and read a book’s worth (or more) of content. When most people think of making money with a blog, they think about advertisements. I do not believe in advertising on a blog because the advertisements take people away from your blog. However, you don’t need advertisements to make a lot of money from your blog. These are the ways that you can make money with your blog:

  1. Search through all of your blog post titles, and choose one that can become your next book. Instead of trying to think of new ideas, one of the ideas you already came up with could be your next book.
  2. Create training courses based on your blog’s content. I created a Twitter Domination Training Course combining content from my book, blog posts, and other sources to create a product.
  3. Create YouTube videos about your blog posts while using AdSense in your videos. The reason advertisements on a YouTube video are good while advertisements on a blog are bad is that everyone is used to waiting 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, the viewer can skip the ad, and then they get to watch the video without any other interruption. Ads on a blog will result in constant interruption that ends when someone clicks on an ad and leaves your blog.
  4. Have blog post based consultations available for your visitors. Offer different consultation plans based on your best blog posts. If you charge $200 an hour and consult people for 20 hours every month, that’s an extra $4,000 every month!

5 Common Twitter Questions (With Answers)

Twitter is a simple social network with a lot of benefits. However, newbies see Twitter is a complex network because they aren’t used to Twitter yet. They have different questions about how different parts of Twitter work. Here are the 5 common Twitter questions with answers provided:

  1. How do I get more followers on Twitter? There are a lot of ways to get more followers on Twitter. You need to tweet consistently and follow people who are going to follow you back. You should try to follow as many people as possible who would be a part of your target audience. These are 20 other ways to build your following.
  2. How do I talk about myself with only 160 characters? Don’t use full sentences in your bio. It is entirely okay to have a sentence fragment as your bio. In your bio, be sure to list all of the things you do.
  3. How do I start more conversations on Twitter? In order to start more conversations, you can ask questions. One question could be, “Do you like Twitter more than Facebook?” Another way to start a conversation is by seeing who mentioned you (when logged in, click the connect button on the top left of Twitter’s home page). Reply to the people who mentioned you and continue to conversation from there.
  4. How do I continue a conversation on Twitter? After you get a reply, it is very important to continue to conversation. Some conversations will be easier to continue than others. Let’s go back to the earlier example question about Twitter and Facebook. If someone says yes without saying anything else, say something like this (assuming that you prefer Twitter over Facebook), “I totally agree with you. What part about Twitter is your favorite?” Then, keep on continuing the conversation. The key to having long conversations is to respond quickly. If you respond to someone weeks later, chances are the conversation won’t continue.
  5. How do I get blog traffic from Twitter? There are many people who use Twitter to bring traffic to their blog. With a small following, you won’t be able to see an immediate impact on your blog’s traffic. As your following grows, and your followers are your target audience, you will begin to see more traffic coming to your blog posts. Another way to increase blog traffic is by sending out at least 10 tweets about your blog every day. The more times you tweet about your blog, the more traffic your blog will get.

My Results: The First Week Of The 12 Week Year

I have always been a productive person, but reading The 12 Week Year has taken my productivity and time management to the next level. I have over 30 blog posts scheduled, 15 extra YouTube videos scheduled, and I’m working on some training courses. All of this extra time has been made possible because of The 12 Week Year.

My first week of implementing this plan has been one of the most productive weeks I have ever had. The only time I could think of a more productive week would be in the summer. I wonder how productive next summer will be when I use this plan.

The 12 Week Year is a game changer for you and your business. If you still have some room on your Christmas list, I highly recommend adding The 12 Week Year to your reading list. What the cover says is true, “You will be able to get more done in 12 weeks than most people get done in 12 months.”

Why Scheduling YouTube Videos In The Masses Is Very Effective

I have been consistently publishing 1 video on YouTube every week. What few people know is that I have videos scheduled months ahead of time. If I didn’t upload any videos for 3 months, you would still get new videos every Saturday at 9 am EST.

Scheduling YouTube videos is a great way of systematizing your channel. You can do enough videos in one day to have videos scheduled for months. It takes me about 10 minutes to finish an individual video. After 3 hours of constantly doing videos, I would have videos scheduled for over 4 months.

By scheduling YouTube videos, you will have more time to do more videos without worrying about your YouTube channel. After I scheduled my YouTube videos, I quickly went to work creating my own training course about Twitter. I am going to create more training courses as well.

In addition to the training courses, I also have more time to use Google+ Hangouts to talk with experts such as Mike Michalowicz. I have a giant list of people who I am going to contact and do a Hangout with them. I have more time to do these Hangouts because I scheduled my YouTube videos.

The success of a business depends on how much you are able to learn within a certain time. By scheduling YouTube videos, I have more time to learn about other opportunities. By scheduling blog posts, I have more time to write a new book and learn about marketing tactics that lead to bestselling books.

As people see your YouTube videos on a consistent basis, they will start to trust you more. As the trust builds, they will eventually buy your other products. The products you sell could be created with all of the time you are saving. Instead of doing 1 video every week for your YouTube channel, do 6 videos one day so you don’t have to worry about doing another video for at least a month.

5 Lessons I Learned From NYT Bestselling Author Mike Michalowicz

I had the honor of having Mike Michalowicz as a guest for a Google+ Hangout. Mike and I talked about The Pumpkin Plan and his upcoming book, Profit First. I read The Pumpkin Plan a few months before the Google+ Hangout. Even if you have read The Pumpkin Plan like I did, you will learn a lot from the Hangout. Here are the 5 things that I learned from Mike Michalowicz:

  1. Fear leads to action. On his 24th birthday, Mike lived in a retirement home where the people there were “either 80 or dead.” Mike said that it was fear that drove him to start his multimillion dollar businesses. That was a way of looking at fear that I never thought of.
  2. Just start. Mike said that people keep on thinking and thinking. However, it is more important to just start. When starting, it is also important to start by spending as little money as possible just to see what works.
  3. You need to be clever. Pizza stores are very competitive, and many of them end up being out of business. However, the pizza stores that go out of business still have their telephone numbers. When Mike teamed up with a pizza store, he looked for telephone numbers of other pizza stores that went out of business. Mike was able to find 3 telephone numbers of 3 pizza stores that went out of business. Then, Mike and the people at the pizza store went to work creating automated messages that directed those people to their own pizza store. That pizza store Mike was working with got three times as many customers.
  4. Write a book about something you like. Mike knows a lot about growing pumpkins. He gave a summary about his knowledge during the Hangout, but in The Pumpkin Plan, he goes further in detail about how planting the colossal pumpkin (the orange fruit). He does relate growing the colossal pumpkin to growing a colossal business just as well, but Mike knows a lot about pumpkins. Since he knows a lot about pumpkins, writing The Pumpkin Plan was the perfect choice.
  5. Give people teasers. Mike’s new book, Profit First comes out in July, but we won’t have to wait until July to see some of his book. In the Hangout, Mike said he would have a link to the first chapter of the book in one of his upcoming blog posts. Mike also gave a lot of teasers for The Pumpkin Plan which can be found all over his YouTube channel.
