The World Of Abundance

October 9, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Isn’t far from you. In fact, you’re living in that world right now. Books used to get sold out, and it took a long time before more shipped. Now, electronic books can’t sell out. There’s an unlimited quantity. Pens run out of ink and pencils get smaller and smaller. One keyboard allows you to type more than thousands of pens and pencils will help you write.

There used to be few options for a business. Now you can create a business on anything you want. If you’re a dog lover, you can create a business involving dogs.

All of the limitations have been removed from the playing field. The only limitations left are the ones you impose on yourself. There are abundant resources and opportunities for you to become successful.

We are living in a world of abundance, and there are an abundant amount of possibilities.

Why You Need Group Boards In Your Pinterest Strategy

October 9, 2013 by Marc Guberti 4 Comments

There are plenty of ways to schedule pins, but finding a free one is like enduring the Odyssey. On other social networks, there are multiple ways to schedule posts for free. I tweet every hour, but that doesn’t mean I’m on Twitter every hour.

You won’t be on Pinterest every hour, and when you aren’t on Pinterest, your boards aren’t getting updated. Group boards solves this problem. With a group board, you can have other people updating your boards for you. If you have 100 contributors for your group board, and each of those people pins on your board once a day, that’s 100 extra pins a day for that board. A board with a lot of pins is going to look better than a board that doesn’t have a lot of pins.

In addition, when another contributor joins your group board, your board gets put on someone else’s list of boards. This gives that particular board more exposure. If someone clicks “Follow All” on one of your contributor’s Pinterest account, your board also gets a follow which means you’ll get more followers as well.

Some group boards have millions of Pinterest followers because they are promoted on many Pinterest accounts, and they’re always getting updated since there are so many contributors. Since these boards are easily getting updated multiple times a day, the SEO value increases.

Not only will you gain an advantage, but your contributors will be able to share their content to a larger audience. Your contributors will be able to use your group board to get a bigger following and let more people know about something faster.

I am really excited to start my own group boards. If you are interested in becoming a contributor for one of my group boards, please go here and fill out the form.

Shoot For The Milky Way

October 8, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

Stars seem difficult to reach. It seems as if it takes a very long time before we can actually reach stardom. Some people see landing on the stars as difficult as taking a full court shot in a game of basketball.

Reaching stardom is only as difficult as you make it out to be. Some people need to take the full court shot to achieve stardom. Others think of it as making free throw. Most people think of it as the full court shot though.

I’m not saying that achieving stardom is as easy as taking the free throw. However, it’s not as difficult as taking a full court shot, or even a half court shot.

People are shooting for the stars because whether they think achieving stardom is easy or difficult, people recognize it as achievable. The star is reachable. Once you reach that star, you’re work is going to pay off in abundance.

What I don’t get is that many people stop at the star. How can you stop at shooting for the stars when it’s possible to shoot for the Milky Way? Why not shoot for the Milky Way from the very start? Are you settling for the stars, or are you going beyond?

The Marketing Bull’s Eye

October 7, 2013 by Marc Guberti 4 Comments

The ways of marketing constantly change. The bull’s eye changes in size, shape, and location. However, it’s always difficult to hit. TV advertising was the way to go. Now mobile advertising is the way to go. Marketing will always change. Before TV advertising, newspaper ads had more power. Social media has quickly become an effective way to market products, blog posts, and services.

The bull’s eye always changes because our interests change. Who remembers Kodak’s cameras? Who still uses them? Smartphones have replaced those Kodak cameras. Print books used to be very popular. eBooks are winning that competition by a landslide. The music industry has also changed by a lot as well.

The bull’s eye always moves around, and it always changes. So why aim for it? It’s a moving target. However, if you get the marketing bull’s eye, you’ll be able to benefit greatly until the bull’s eye moves. However, it’s much easier for you to hit the marketing bull’s eye for a second time since people know about you. People are already paying attention to what you have to offer. Thus, the marketing bull’s eye gets bigger and easier to hit.

It’s not uncommon for people to give up on marketing, especially when it is constantly changing, but if you hit the marketing bull’s eye once, and you keep on aiming for the bull’s eye, each bull’s eye will be easier to hit than the last.

Too Many People Care About The Competition

October 7, 2013 by Marc Guberti Leave a Comment

There are too many people who look at the competition. The practice of carefully watching the competition could have been given to us by sports. I’m sure all of the baseball fans were watching the NL Central and AL Wild Card as the regular season was coming to a conclusion. Football is on as well, and some teams aren’t having the good starts they were predicted to have.

There are more companies trying to be like others. Facebook is trying to be Twitter. Facebook won’t be able to out-Twitter Twitter because Twitter was first. If Facebook tries to out-Twitter Twitter, they will lose.

Beating the competition feels like an accomplishment. Getting more sales than Seller B just allows you to compete with Seller C. Competition is like a never-ending dog pile in which everyone is trying to end up on top.

Fighting to be on the top of the dog pile is going to take years of work. You might not even get there because there are already established companies with a good record for success. The competition is not as important as you being successful. The competition isn’t important. Your business and your ideas are important.

Create Something Worth Sharing

October 6, 2013 by Marc Guberti 2 Comments

People are focusing on getting their message out there. People want others to tell people about their products. Word of mouth is powerful, and the ability to share content on social media is just as powerful. However, word of mouth and social media don’t result in a product that gets shared a lot.

Instead of finding more ways for people to share your product, create a product that is worth sharing. The best products aren’t necessarily the ones that get all of the advertising slots on television or the ones where the seller has over 100,000 followers on multiple social networks.

The best products are the ones that are worth sharing. People won’t share a sub par product that they see in an advertisement. You’ve told one of your friends about a product. That was a product worth sharing because you told someone else about that product. The product worth sharing is the one that goes from the unknown to the next bestseller.

Don’t create the hype. Create something of value.
